    I remember when I first applied for a job after I retired from the AF. During the interview they asked me to describe myself in 3 words. I said "lazy."

    The MLB ROY rule is based on ABs ABs do not include walks, sacrifices, or HBPs. Those are PAs. But again...they can't be considering that.

    I do not believe Twins management is so stupid as to even give ROY eligibility in 2027 a seconds worth of thought. That cannot possibly be even a secondary reason for promoting or not promoting Jenkins. As noted above, he hasn't really earned it. Plus he's not on the 40 man now, which I believe would be important if there's a 2027 work stoppage.

    Mrs Chief and I have become big fans of audio books. We like to sit after dinner and listen to a good thriller. We were just about done with a really good murder mystery when I accidentally deleted the book from my phone. Boy, Mrs Chief was really mad at me. I'm sure I'll never hear the end of it.
