Call me old fashioned, but I have been in favor of running hard out of the box for quite some time now. This management team is so hopelessly inept as to defy imagination.

    Some seriously funny stuff. Still, the idea that the advanced beginners in A ball are legit prospects seems to me a tragic comedy. Even if such claims are oddly familiar, I'm clearly confused by the inevitable sweet sorrow and bitter sweet results that end up in the sounds of silence or the crash landing as success stories just grow smaller. The whole numbering of prospects to me seems nothing but random ordering

    He did indeed have a nice game. And I for one don't think he's as bad in RF as some. Not good, but not that bad, either. However, he's played his role in the Twins disappointing season. The team needs him to provide consistent impact. It hasnt been there.

    His .800 OPS has had precious little impact. I don't want to get rid of him. But he's hard a marginal season. He needs to hit better to have a positive impact. I don't think he's as bad an outfielder as some, but he's certainly not an asset defensively. So he needs to provide offensive impact. Not a few scattered solo HRs here and there. You can worship at the alter of SLG all day, it doesn't convince most of us. And fWAR? Heh.

    I wonder if that's by circumstance rather than design. Ryan and Vazquez alternated starts behind the plate almost religiously over the past couple years. I don't recall any alterations to that based on starter.
