  1. Forced to listen on radio now that I'm in Minnesota. Atteberry is ... annoying.
  2. We'll see on Lewis. Way to early to tell. He needs to stay on the field, for one thing. Correa has never driven in 100, despite hitting in the middle of some pretty good Houston lineups, with 2 seasons over 600 PAs. Less than 160 RBI in 2.33 full Twins seasons. Again, in the middle of the lineup. Miranda? Nah.
  3. You don't see Rocco missing a chance to get his RH "hitters" into the lineup.
  4. I realize new age statheads will scoff, but there is no offensive statistic more crucial than RBIs. And we ain't got any RBI guys.
  5. I cannot take this team seriously. Oh-for-the-season, in often embarrassing fashion, against Cleveland, Baltimore and NY isn't an anomaly.
  6. I've been pounding on this since last season. It's such a glaring, obvious, incredibly stupid mistake. And he gets abused by opposing managers over, and over, and over again. We need a MLB manager.
  7. No. No it doesn't. It's not real difficult to find good CF defense. He's a problem, and it appears to be getting worse. For the record, his "modest" $15m salary is more than 10% of the budget.
  8. .179/.284/.263 entering tonight. He shouldn't even be the regular 2nd baseman on the Eden Valley-Watkins town ball team.
  9. Not sure what I hate worse: -Lopez peeing down his leg Or -Boone playing Baldelli for the fool he is, getting Larnach and Kirilloff out of the game in the 6th. I guess I'll go with Baldelli being worse. In his case it's entirely voluntary.
  10. Once again, Rocco "can't wait to get my best hitters out of the game" Baldelli lets Christian ".400 OPS" Vazquez hit in the 8th inning trailing by a couple runs. We need a MLB manager.
  11. If you're going to lecture us on math, you should take care to get the math correct. If the Twins had won .559% of their games this season they'd be roughly 3-56. That projects to ~9 wins this season.
  12. Your examples of how many PAs the Yankees give to poor offensive players are Torres, Rizzo, Stanton and LeMahieu?? They have certainly had injury issues over the past several years, but c'mon. Nice use of 2023 runs scored, BTW. You missed 807 in 2022, and how about this year?
  13. The proper move was to send Farmer packing, but there are 6 million bad reasons they didn’t. Ridiculous.
  14. Huh? First of all, Farmer has only 106 PAs all season. And Farmer for May: .242/.306/.333
  15. No more so than Farmer, Margot, and Santana. I do agree Wallner needed to go away. And I've never had much hope for Martin. But opportunity should work both ways.
  16. I don't see a single reason to keep Farmer over Julien. He's worse on both sides of the ball. And the other options aren't 2nd basemen.
  17. Why Julien over Farmer? What does Farmer provide? He's not even the backup SS any longer. Ridiculous.
