  1. And, to repeat, Larnach should have been on second for that Wallner double anyway. The throw on the sac fly was over the cutoff man and not anywhere near curable. There was no chance the fly ball isn't caught so he should have been tagging.
  2. That's totally on Larnach's stupid ***.
  3. I bought it in Duluth. OMC Smokehouse
  4. Larnach should have been on second after the throw home, but still should have scored from first. He had to have been jogging
  5. I am having strawberry-rhubarb pie for desert. There is no better desert.
  6. One needs to get up preeeeeeeeetty early in the afternoon to sneak one past the chief.
  7. Kyle Hendricks. It's right in the first post.
  8. I would imagine if that happens he's already pitched.
  9. I'd put the chances Kepler is a Twin in 2025 at roughly 1 in a million.
  10. Dunno about that. He's been a starter and completely unfamiliar with pitching on back-to-back days. But I doubt the Twins care about usage. He's not going to be around long.
  11. I don't understand why Randy Dobnak's return makes anyone* happy. *Outside the Dobnak family, of course.
  12. Truth: I don't know what's best. I'd probably not overthink it. I'd start Varland, not need to mess with the roster and scramble later. It's an interesting question though. I wonder what Cleveland will do. They're in the same boat. Three game series starting today, off Thursday.
  13. I know right? Not to brag, but I got me one of them sweet combo setups: Gettin harder and harder to find tapes for sale though. Got a source?
  14. The other 29 teams conspired to make outrageous demands of the Twins, but not of each other. Poor Twins, what could they do?
  15. Well that's a shame, and your loss. An unforced loss, at that. I think perhaps you need to widen your sources of information.
  16. Stuff+? He looked like a position player up there lobbing in eephus pitches. Dobnak isn't an answer.
  17. It wasn't lodged. That stupid gap at the base of the OF wall is bigger than a baseball and isn't considered lodged. But it does beg the question "why is that gap there in the first place?"
  18. They can start SWR and Ober for Friday's games, Festa Saturday, and Lopez Sunday, if they want. They'd have Ryan Monday in KC, but nobody for Tuesdays game. Or, they can bring up a spot starter for Friday's doubleheader using the 27th man. I suspect they take this route. It keeps the rotation sort of intact, and makes best use of the 27th man. If they use 2 regular starters for the doubleheader they'll need someone else outside the rotation to start a game against KC anyway. Might as well do that when you have an extra roster spot that won't require roster manipulation
  19. Sweep is welcome and needed. I had the same thoughts on Benintendi. A manager can't let that level of indifference fester. Thats not major league by either the player or the manager. Benintendi should absolutely have been pulled on that lazy double, if not before. Ridiculous.
