I REALLY like the fact the Jim Pohlad asked around for advice and followed that advice and hired Korn Ferry. That makes me believe he'll be hiring from the outside. Ever now and then, it's a good idea to shake things up. The team makeup? Blah, blah, blah. I'm leaving that to the new GM. All players can be moved. Or do I need to bring up Kevin Correa again?

Oh crap. Damn statistics anyhow Thanks for the info. Yeah, I was looking at the total under the player stats. Pretty useless stat then.... RISP of 11. Ish...

Excuse me? A team trading for JOE Mauer? The Mauer with $46M still on contract over the next 2 years? If you find a team like that, we'd probably be able to get the next Babe Ruth back.

Is that part of the Sabermetrics?
  7. HitInAPinch
Hmmm, enlighten me. I'm looking at the MLB.com boxscore from last night. It says 18 LOB for the Twins, 8 LOB for the Braves.

I'm calling this one the most disappointing loss of the season. Great outing, complete game by E. Santana. 18 left on base for a shutout on the Twins.

They show a picture of Rob Antony watching the game, and he's not on the telephone. Slacker.
  15. HitInAPinch
Twins are racking up a pretty impressive number of LOB's.

    Wow, right down the pipe.....
  20. HitInAPinch
How the H is it possible that AJ threw out Buxton? sheezzz
  21. HitInAPinch
Twins base runners do lot of silly stuff. Why didn't Buxton just dive back in head first???
  22. HitInAPinch
Oh, Buxton passed on 2 sliders and 1 fastball away. 1 [inside] strike later, walks on another outside pitch. Progress.....
  23. HitInAPinch
Foul ball calls are not reviewable? Me no understand....
  24. HitInAPinch
    hacking away!
  25. HitInAPinch
