  1. Feeling good today. PTC: Larnach Prediction: Twins 6, White Sox 4 Lets salvage the series
  2. The little sliver of hope that many of us were holding on to coming into this series is gone. Of course there is plenty of season left, but it’s clear the difference in these two rosters is significant, and that’s without Chicago having 2 of their best hitters. I would also say that the twins had the starting pitching advantage in game one, and tonight was a wash, but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the scores. At least colome has been decent as of late I suppose, get that trade value up above nothing. Congrats to Larnach on his first hit. At this point, I’m hoping the positive from this season is that AK, Larnach, and a few other prospects we haven’t seen yet give me reason to believe in next years squad.
  3. The thing that many seem to ignore is that the nationals had 3 legit aces — scherzer, stras, and Corbin. They also had Juan Soto, Anthony rendon, and trae turner. They also had a legit closer in Sean Doolittle. The twins have a lite version of the hitters in Buxton, Cruz, and JD, but the pitching is nowhere near the level as that nationals team. Any fan that’s still clinging onto this stat is absolutely foolish.
  4. That’s gonna do it for me tonight. This team stinks — bad. I hate that I make myself watch them and talk myself into a potential turn around day after day. with that said, see y’all tomorrow!
  5. This is the worst group of relievers I've ever seen
  6. He would, but unfortunately he's in the 2021 draft
  7. Happ has had so many non-competitive pitches today. Of course over the course of 30 starts you're going to have duds, but oof.
  8. That....was a poor inning against a guy who was struggling
  9. Pretty clear neither Happ or Dallas have their best stuff. Twins need to get the lead back
  10. I hope to god nobody. This isn't JV baseball, the catcher should be able to call a game at the MLB level
  11. Extremely lucky to only have given up 2 there....lets see if this offense has any fight in em
  12. PTC: Miguel Sano homer Prediction: White Sox 7, Twins 4
  13. If polanco continues to hit as he gets farther away from ankle surgery, which I hope he does, I don’t think I’d trade him. You’ll get good value, yes, but you have to hope that this year is just a “wtf” type of year and next year we’re back to competing for the ALC and playoffs (which we should assuming playoffs expand). As much as the Simmons signing was to shore up the IF defense, I think it had more to do with Arraez being bas at 2nd than it did Polanco being below average at SS. If the twins hold onto Arraez, which again they should, I think he’s primarily the DH next year.
  14. Likely options are dobnak, Shaun Anderson, Farrell, Giabult, Hamilton, and sparkman. Not a real jaw dropping group.
