  1. Agee. I wonder if he pitches next year.
  2. He was safe..have to challenge that.
  3. SANO!!!! That was great to see.
  4. Wow, thought for sure he would be up here. I see he is out of option years after this season. Have to think he gets up here before September to see what he has.
  5. Sadly, I think Erv is shot
  6. About what I thought we'd get for the Dukie. I liked him more than most on here. Hope he does well in Seattle. Seemed like a good guy. De Jong doesn't seem like much of anything other than Aaron Slegers, but the slugger is a fine guy to take on for a LOOGY.
  7. I like the move, especially the way Lynn started out the year. I like taking a flier on Austin, and the move would be worth it alone on Rijo. He looks intriguing for a young arm. Nice work by the front office.
  8. Alcala looks interesting: 22 Y/O, throws 99 with regularity, and has been seen touching 102. Should play in the MLB. Says his secondary pitches need some work. Sounds like a he has the ceiling of a 2 or 3, or a lockdown reliever if starting doesn't work out for him. Celestino is a 19 Y/O OF who seems a little farther from the MLB: Says he compares to Cubs outfielder Almora, which would be a nice player if he develops into that. More of a line drive hitter, but could maybe add some power down the road. Bats right handed, throws left. Solid base runner, plus arm. Probably a 4th outfielder if he makes the league. If Alcala ever develops into anything, I like it. However, I think I would have rather gambled on 2019 with Pressly.
  9. Welp. Now we know why he wasn't used.
  10. Who woulda thought that would happen. What a joke.
  11. Wait, we're warming up Matt feaking Besilie? Where is Pressly? Or Magill. Anyone but Besilie.
  12. Agree. But if the front office knew they were close to a move, why isn't someone waiting at Fenway incase the move is made on that day. Not saying it has to be Sano, but someone should be waiting. Petit. Gordon. Astudillo. Somebody should be there.
  13. He isn't though. Pressly is better, especially on the rest we're looking at with both guys
  14. Welp. Why are we pitching a 40 year old in his 3rd straight game.
  15. Lets hope Red Sox hit everything to the right side.
  16. Please do not use Rodney here. I do not trust him on 4 times in 5 nights. Please, please, please use Pressly.
  17. I see what you mean, but Kimbrel can't throw a strike. They won't do that I don't think. Maybe if count goes 2-0.
  18. Alright. Eddie loves these situations. You got this
  19. Mauer picked a bad time to swing at a first pitch. Kimbrel can't find the zone
  20. Very nice inning from Rogers. Not sure why he hasn't been used lately.
  21. False. Maybe at the start of the year, but no longer. Kilome is the teams number 10 prosepct, 23, and in AA, with underwhelming numbers. Fairly similar to the Twins return of Mejia from the Nunez trade years ago. I'm sure the Twins could have picked a closer to MLB, but opted for younger guys who have a lower floor, but probably higher ceiling.
