  1. Alright Twins! Let's kick this weekend off with a W
  2. Really, really sucks to lose a game that you use Taylor Rogers in. He is certainly unavailable tomorrow, and they would probably like to sit him out Saturday too. I don't understand using Dyson in today's game at all. They showed him walking into the dugout in either the 5th or 6th inning. I don't know the usual routine of a reliever, but I can promise you it isn't fly for three hours, do nothing, and then pitch in a game 2 hours later. You're up three runs. Throw Ryne Harper. Throw Trevor May. The front office showed faith in not upgrading from those guys, so you have to use them. Any reliever should be able to get three outs without giving up three runs, middle reliever or not. Seems like Rocco came down with "shiny new toy on Christmas" case today.
  3. Welp... That is a really, really bad loss against a really bad team. Cannot let it spiral into another loss. See y'all tomorrow night, have a blessed Thursday night.
  4. May, Stashek, and Thorpe I believe.
  5. Just a phase I think. Guys go through it in a 162 game season. I do hope we give him a day off tomorrow though.
  6. You can say the pitching blew this game, but the bats have been very bad against below average arms
  7. Taylor Rogers bailing out his teammates like it's his job...
  8. Yikes. And now we are forced to use Rogers three days in a row, two of which he had no business pitching in. Please, please, please shut this down Taylor. On the bright side, Dyson can really only go up from here
  9. I really don't get pitching Dyson here. Dude got off a plane a few hours ago, has been at the park since like the 6th inning, and is coming into a game like an hour later. Silly.
  10. Add some more runs boys! Give Romo, Dyson, and Rogers the day off
  11. Not a flashy bullpen, but it is much better than where we were at two weeks ago. We now have Rogers Dyson Romo Duffey at the back end of our bullpen, plus Martin Perez in the postseason. Not bad. Not flashy, but not bad at all. Would have LOVED to get Robbie Ray, but I think that was a dream.
  12. TWINS WIN!!!! Lead is now to three, and Sergio Romo and Rogers did exactly what they are supposed to do. Shut down the opponents. The bats weren't there tonight, which means we probably come back with 10+ runs tomorrow. Will be very interesting to see what moves are made between now and tomorrow at 3PM central. Have a great night y'all!!! Go Twins!!!
  13. They're also getting Franmil Reyes back in the deal, so they get two decent hitting outfielders...
  14. Yep. Not sure how to feel. Indians lineup looks a bit better, and they have pitching depth, but it is a big question mark at this point. Bieber, and a bunch of "good before injuries" guys. Still confident in our chances now that they'll have to find a 5th starter to replace bauer.
  15. Romo is hyped!!! I love to see it. Come on bats, add a few more.
  16. INDIANS LOSE. Lead to 2.5...for now.
  17. Welp. I don't like the way this is going. Let's hope the R&R brothers can shut this one down!
  18. Waiting to use Cruz with runners on.
  19. Indians down 2-0 entering B8
  20. Great job by Duffey. He is a legit late inning weapon in my mind, which is why one more top tier arm would be enough to be content. Get another top tier arm AND a Romo+, and the bullpen looks really good.
  21. Don't understand that walk right there at all, but it worked out for them. Bullpen has to shut this down, because the offense just doesn't have it tonight, which happens once or twice over 162 games.
  22. Okay, not a great start considering the opponent for Odo. Command wasn't great, although he only walked one. Seemed to nibble a bit too much. Have to wonder if the blister is still bothering him some. However, he put the team in a good position to win this game. Offense needs to add on, and bullpen needs to shut down a poor opponent.
