  1. More than i done... Now that i'm thinkin' about it, perhaps i'd answer "to crush the evil empire" and leave it at that. Maybe teddy bears could feature in the answer?
  2. Well answered all. I'm still trying come up with why an ewok crossed the road... But the class of jokes that answer the question "what's grosser than gross?" may translate well with furry in place of gross... (The originals don't make much sense either) I was thinking also of the movie "karate wookie" and its training scene: "ewoks on, ewoks off"... er... i'm too lazy at the moment to think of more... and games need watching.
  3. Yeah, i checked the affiliate scores, and on that note was tempted to say amongst the good friends a pitcher has is a 10 run inning by his offense...
  4. Ewok jokes are, by definition, at the ewok's expense... On the other hand, i never thought of it, but that could well be a thing. Does anyone know any good ewok jokes? If not, can anyone come up with one or more?
  5. The pitcher is a popular person, with many good friends.
  6. The first inning strike 'em out throw 'em out double play made me a little sad. But it is a long game, so i remain hopeful!
  7. One can take credit for recognizing and sharing quality of preexistant material, as well as in original use of said material. True, there is so very much of it. And One can tell the original by the beard. One learned this by watching city of lost children... But it is also good to exercise One's originality chops every once in a while. Meh, One must now hope Twins can come back from a One run deficit.
  8. Good job providin' context for tonight's game, always33! Now i'm wondering if Trevor May pitches a perfect game, do we post our congrats for Cy May or for Trevor Young?
  9. If you hadn't deduced it from previous posts, the Circus Boy Final is... Minnesota 8 Oakland 7 Perkins does know how to keep the excitement in the game, but once again he comes through. Alas, i do miss my 3 run lead though. It did not last long.
  10. And boyer on the mound with the glove!
  11. Got me stumped. If i find out, i'll be sure to pass it on.
  12. Was that a pinch bunt single? That's pretty cool. Hopefully the Twins can handle it.
  13. You could move the tiles around for exercise... Only problem is how many repetitions would constitute a work out? If you solve it, let us know your solution to the rep-tile problem. (Er, i remember this... Duck, and cover)
  14. Ah, i get it! "May the 4th" so the Twins are only have 4 run innings...
  15. Is that a three run lead i see before me?
  16. Vargas starts it off well, with a hit, and stays at first.
  17. Ladders are so useful. I wish i'd been there!
  18. And i'm happy to have regressed to the mean as a game thread writer, the Twins having won 4 and lost 4. I know i don't really have any measurable effect on the game, but it's still reassuring.
  19. I thought the waiting was the hardest part... Not sure why.
  20. I think that's the Rule V pick from Atlanta.
  21. I haven't been counting, but yeah, maybe the Sox have given us 15 extra outs... Though that sounds a little high.
  22. http://twinsdaily.com/forum/10-archived-game-threads/ I think that works...
  23. There is something elegant about a grounder finding its way between two diving fielders... 9-2 and counting, your CBU to go.
  24. We seem to be keeping the petal to the metal (with an assist to Chicago's D), so perhaps our crack middle relief doesn't need to be so crack.
