  1. Molitor eject stickin' up for Hicks on that play.
  2. Like this? http://coast.noaa.gov/digitalcoast/sites/default/files/img/blog/Turtle_Unit_With_Growth_HI.jpg
  3. Third paragraph from the bottom o' this page... http://wmbr.org/history.html
  4. As in circus routine? That could have the calliope music, and i wouldn't tire of it.
  5. Thanks! If i remember, there's also a cool story about how Turner got WTBS call sign... (One moment...)
  6. I blame the outdated superstitious dogma perpetuated by the average fan. It's fun to play the blame game...
  7. Thanks. Some rhyme/reason, but it takes second place to historical accuracy. From a usefulness perspective, i'd expect generally names on visiting uniforms as it is slightly more reasonable to expect home fans to know the numbers... But that isn't thinking very hard, and life is always more complicated than that...
  8. But it's totally acceptable to break up a no hitter with a bunt, isn't it?
  9. Another bit of ignorance on my part. Any rhyme or reason as to whether or not the names are on the uniforms?
  10. Sano! Hit 'em where they ain't!
  11. Ah yes. Bees battle their tails off when they sting.
  12. Thanks! My boxing knowledge is lacking, i guess.
  13. Am curious. Some folk call Mr. Robinson "Sugar Shane." Is there a story to that? I know i'm kinda living under a rock...
  14. Oh yeah, and Molitor won the challenge to overturn another call at first what was bang bang.
  15. Plouffe with the tag at first, helpin' Escobar out to end the inning. Entering the bottom of the second, 2-0 Minnesota. CBU
  16. Now that Hicks has deposited a ball there, should we be surprised if he withdraws one later?
  17. Hicks puts it in the bullpen. "As expected."
  18. Dozier shows bunt, takes the ball. Then singles to left. Not bad.
  19. 5-4-3 double play ends the yankee's half o' the first. Nice pick up by Escobar.
  20. And i guess i'd say, if it works, bunt until it don't. They should thank us for helping them work out their weaknesses. But i wouldn't get involved in a bean barrage... Only like a quarter hour 'til the game! Almost there!
