    Classic gamesmanship. Never do what your opponent expects! More likely some combination of giving us the best chance to win (see above) and a desire to evaluate him and give him a chance to show us what he can do, given half a chance.

    Would that be when he gets 13 outs, and the game ends after 14 outs? The last inning was only 2 outs, and he got one of them. Sounds like half an inning to me... But i suppose that was the less important question... I would hesitate to diagnose ya over a game thread (unless it be entirely obviously for comedic value alone, and not in the least for your therapeutic benefit) but gosh, i hope not! Please remain cogent for the entire game and ensuing game thread, as i appreciate your thoughts!
