    The question is, at what point does it become so embarrassing that the media and the public turns on the front office? I realize that many have already turned on the front office, but why would you want to purchase tickets after watching this? If you have tickets, how would you even get rid of them? Who is going to pay full price to watch this team?

    Yesterday, I optimistically predicted that the Twins would leave Detroit being outscored 19-2...turns out, I was being optimistic. 21-0 and counting.

    I just realized that the Twins have 11 hits for the year...while giving up 18 runs.

    Now teams that started 0-3 and failed to score a run or even get a man to 3rd base...that's a different story.

    68 teams have started 0-3 and 13 have rallied to make the playoffs including the Angels who finished the year with the best record in baseball...hope is not lost!

    Actually, the replay official in NY, said that he was out...Joe West overruled it and said that he saw it and thought he was safe.

    I'm all for being positive, but a wise man once told me that you can't polish a turd. Well, folks, this team is pretty bad based on what we've seen so far. True that we are only 2 games into a long season and the score starts over at 0-0 each game, but that's as close to anything positive that I can come up with.

    Wonder if a team has ever started the year with back to back shutouts? Going back to last year (which ended in Detroit), this would be 3 straight shutouts.

    On the positive side, I've been eager to get a look at the Twins bullpen this year.

    I think going back to last year, the Twins have been held scoreless in all but 1 of the last 25 innings against Detroit.

    Our strategy is so obvious. Let them score runs so that their pitcher tightens up in the cold weather. We got 'em right where we want 'em.

    Is it negativity or realism? I'd like to think that the Twins will contend this year...I'd like to think that women look at me like they look at Brad Pitt... Am I being negative or realistic to say that neither of those are true?

    What confuses me about the roster is that it was assumed that Tori Hunter would mentor Hicks, Rosario, or whoever was in CF. No chance for that with the current roster. So, why pay 10 mil for a guy to play subpar defense and mentor no one?

    "I think he's pressing a bit". That one always drove me nuts. They should be pressing. They should be putting pressure on themselves. You should be putting pressure on them. Push them to get better, or go home. Apparently, being a player friendly coach was more important than winning.
