    Yep. I hope I'm wrong, but I'm calling BS now. The other thing is the more hits TD gets the more money they make. A little rumor here, little rumor there to stir the pot, brings in the dollars Dave?.....

    I don't buy it. If that was the case we'd have a deal by now. I just can't imagine walking away from De Leon & Bellinger or De Leon & Alvarez. Big mistake on the new management if you ask me.

    DEAL OR NO DEAL..... Yeah. Either way i don't see this happening now. If De Leon and Bellinger were ever on the table together or De Leon and Alvarez this would have happened by now. I agree with you. I think the Dodgers offered De Leon plus lesser prospects and the Twins couldn't squeeze another one out despite what Dave's "source" says. No disrespect intended. It just doesn't add up in my mind. If the Twins & Dodgers can't make a deal here at the winter meetings face to face, I just don't see it happening anytime soon if ever.

    I'm guessing it's because the Twins want one more pitcher in the deal like Alvarez to go along with De Leon and Dodgers aren't budging.

    It's the god complex IMO. I created it or maintain it so i can say or do whatever i want. I would add too that there appears to be an almost hypocritical application of forum rules for certain posters (including some of the mods) depending on who they are and who they buddy up too. It's clear that certain individuals here have known each other for many years (5-10+ years) and many of these very same individuals think they can insinuate and post snarky remarks whenever they want while the rest of us are outsiders. I agree it's annoying and obvious.

    Depending on whether or not we get De Leon and or Santana is traded will likely determine if Santiago and Gibson are tendered contracts. If the De Leon is not acquired (ahem Dave) and Santana is not traded then i think you tender both no questions asked.

    They better make something happen soon. Colorado and other teams are looking for pitchers and are willing to give up position players to get them. All I can say is move with a purpose don't delay too long or take too long.

    If i was the twins it would have to be DeLeon and Alvarez to start. Throw in DeJong, Sheffield or Buehler and we have a deal for sure. Twins need pitching no "ifs ands or butts." The question is are the Dodgers really willing to deal.

    No on Bellinger. Twins already have a plethora of 1b / DH types in Park, Vargas, Sano and possibly Kepler too. I also think he's (Bellinger) being over inflated by the Dodgers organization when you start looking into his stats. To me it's gotta be De Leon and Alvarez plus one more (Beuhler, Sheffield or Lux). I know the Dodger would scoff at that but they are getting a top tier 2nd baseman and still keeping Urias.

    You would hope that's the case with most people here. I've been talking to some dodgers folks the last couple of hours who supposedly know organization insiders in CA and they seem to think we are absolutely "smoking dope." So who the heck knows. Maybe a deal is brewing MAYBE NOT.

    I prefer De Leon, Alvarez ++ over De Leon, Bellinger ++. However, I can see why the Twins might be scoff a bit at the second version of the deal. Need more pitching for this to work.

    I would be happy as a pig in you know what if the Twins managed to get both Urias and De Leon. I know it's not going to happen, but would gladly eat crow if it did.
