    Morneau's AB's yesterday were simply not major league caliber. They were beyond struggling and close to clueless.

    Tori Hunter's AA stats would have projected him as a 4th outfielder at best. Hicks may end up being a bust but i wouldn't be suprised if the light goes on soon and the understanding of playing professional baseball catches up with his physical tools.

    B prospects? How many of those did they get for Santana? Much better off waiting for him to put distance behind his injuries and continue to hit for power. It he continues on that track in respect to both he will be in incredible demand at some point.

    While they're at it they should make a push for Hamilton too. I love the idea and I think he has great stuff but nothing in the Twins DNA would suggest they will even pay 5 million for a free agent pitcher this off season. This team wouldn't even get Cliff Lee for a couple prospects when they had a team that was very good in 2010. Afterall, where would they be without Aaron Hicks? This orginazation makes money 1st, and if they have a good team that just a bonus. You've been hoodwinked if you believe otherwise.

    He never even put up above average numbers in the minors and skipped triple A. This one's pretty simple. To my eye he projects slightly below replacement level at either 1st or RF.

    Why isn't Sano ranked higher than 18th by BA? He seems like the most exciting Twins prospect I can ever remember. Time to give the Twins front office a little credit. Carrol and Willingham have been everything anybody could possibly hope for. Excellent upgrades. Burton seems like he's really settling into a great option too.

    Seth, Where is Kyle Gibson in his rehab? Is he throwing off a mound yet?

    Hopefully Capps has got the correct side of the mound figured out this season.

    I'm about a 6 but that's probably because I'm flabbergasted how they have absolutely ignored the bullpen for 2 consecutive off seasons. They refuse to spend money on MLB verteran relievers with decent track records. I'm not talking overspending on Papelbon or Benoit, just an MLB contract at the going rate for a decent MLB reliever. The guy from Philly who never pitched an inning is the only guy I can even rememeber them bringing in as a free agent gaurenteed contract. It was nice to see Perkins get signed and for all the world it looks very smart but that's a pile of money for a guy who has put together only 4 solid months in the majors.

    Looks like game 164 to me. I love watching this team as much as about anything outside my family life and Tiger Woods in the hunt on sunday but this is getting hard to watch.

    Couldn't be more excited to see the Twins regular starting lineup when the season starts. Having mid-level rookie prospects starting the 3rd game of the season will make me want to close my eyes. Has all the makings of a season spoiler

    Other than he's one of the worst hitters anyone has ever seen in the major leagues.

    I'm not so sure about this one. That's a big commitment to a guy who has only put together only one solid, injury free season. Especially when he was pretty average in August and September last year. This potentially is much worse than the Capps deal.
