    If nothing else, this thread has taught me that every time a starter gives up too many runs, it's because G left him in one inning too many...even if that's the fifth inning.

    His GOAL should be to get Hicks over to 3rd? Sometimes I strongly dislike how low of a bar the Twins's announcers set. Edit: Seriously! Bert's analysis is "bad at bat." Guarantee that if Hicks had singled and Florimon had bunted Hicks over, he'd be getting nothing but praise for a great AB...meanwhile, Hicks would still be at 2nd with one out. Ugh.

    Maybe he meant Twins batters. As in: "It doesn't matter if he faces LH or RH Twins batters this year, because the Twins will never beat the Yankees again."

    Why do I think Hicks should play over Thomas? Because the idea of Hicks playing is exciting, while the idea of Clete playing is meh.

    Just for the record, lefties are OPSing only 10 points lower against Duensing than righties. Not your typical LOOGY, at least this year.
