    Amazing, Duffey had batters reaching for pitches out of the zone. I didn't know that could be done. Is that legal? Edit: Just noticed, the opposing team didn't score in the first inning! And the Twins scored first!! I see cats, dogs and hysteria!!

    Question for the experts: Are all games made up or only the ones that will affect final standings? In other words, is it possible the Twins will not have to make up this game, should it be rained out, if it will not affect the final standing of the Royals?

    I think Molitor has had the team quit on him. Fire the coaching staff, DFA a couple of people and option a couple more. This just cannot continue.

    Pretty funny exchange between Dick and Bert. Dick: "Molitor says the team doesn't deal with adversity well. The team gets down a couple of runs and they don't know how to handle the situation." Bert: "Uh yeah,but the team is dealing with being down a run or four in the first couple innings night after night..." (paraphrased but I think I caught the gist of the exchange)

    First concert: Neil Young "Rust Never Sleeps" tour. I had just moved to the Cities and had to find my way to the Civic Center. Somehow, I wound up down by the river in the process. I brought pot, but, as it turned out, it wasn't really necessary. I was a contractor, setting up the infield seating stands at the Metrodome for the Timberwolves inaugural season. It seems like there should be a third item in this list, but, I got nothing.

    Well, considering a Twins day seems like a week and a Twins week seems like an eternity, and Grossman has been up for a week, it's quite understandable if you missed the early calls for Grossman to be in the All Star game.
