  1. I honestly thought, when the Twins had the bases loaded in the 14th, the game would be won. Anyway, this is what separates the current Twins and the best, failure to execute at key points in the game.
  2. Breath. Breath. I had no expectations for this team going into the season. I'm getting to wound up. This team has done far better than I dreamed they would, so, I need to take a deep breath. (still irritating to see the Twins throw away a winnable game, but, hey, it's baseball)
  3. This not executing with the bases loaded is getting old.
  4. And to think, the Twins get to do it all over again tomorrow afternoon...
  5. Has the Ump expanded the strike zone for both sides? If not, I don't appreciate it. I don't care if the ump is calling it 6" outside as long as the zone is consistent for both teams.
  6. This game is wearing me out. I cannot imagine how the players feel.
  7. Molitor: Hey, guys, we're running out of bullpen pitchers, so, do what you can to speed things along. Rosario: I'm on it boss! Buxton: I'm with you, Eddie!
  8. Game is intense and then, two lousy at-bats in a row by the Twins. Uggh.
  9. Okay, thanks for the information. I didn't catch that, obviously.
  10. No matter which way this game goes, it's been quite the game.
  11. Speaking of Sano, any chance Sano is dinged up? Despite his strikeouts, having him sit for a couple of games seems odd.
  12. The out at third shouldn't have been overturned. The correct call was "inconclusive." If NY can make that determination, then the Dozier run should have counted. Either NY is consistent or they are not. In this game, NY is not consistent, at all.
  13. I'm really getting tired of the Rays getting the benefit of these calls.
  14. Yes, this team seem to know how to bring the pressure to the other team. Mentally, this team does not resemble last year at all.
  15. Okay, while I think not overturning the call was the right call, I'm starting to think New York is showing some East Coast bias.
  16. Okay, if I'm being consistent, the call at the plate isn't overturned. Therefore, the call needs to be overturned.
  17. And the Rays have to pitch to Dozier. Cool.
