    TD now has it's own "This Day in History." (best read with a bit of reverb and deep voice) First ever playoff thread and Brian is now firmly ensconced in the TD HOF through being the person who wrote the opener. Congratulations, Brian! Hopefully, you get a plaque of some sort. Or a ribbon? TD SWAG? Cup of coffee at the local diner? Go Twins!

    Yeah, I'm tired of hearing about Romine playing all positions. If anything, I give Ausmus credit for finding a way to put some fun back into what has been a miserable season for the Tigers. And I'm quite sure the season became somewhat less than fun for the Tigers a couple of months ago.

    Good Job, chitown! And let's hope the Sox and the Yankees are still vying for the division tomorrow! And, we'll know by game time tonight, as both teams are currently warming up. (I laugh at the idea of the Sox collapsing to the point they have to play a 1 game playoff to determine the division winner) Meanwhile, the Twins can play just to keep sharp with a win only being incidental. Go Twins!

    I look at the route to the Series from the AL side and there are some formidable teams out there.

    Hey, I've got the Twins to win the Series this year. I think I only got 20 to 1, though. I figured, why not? I also have Cleveland but they were a mere 7 to 1.
