Saw the one coming too. Kepler!
  2. Blake
    I saw that coming.

Why are you making obscene gestures at your tv? Dick and Bert aren't broadcasting and the Twins have been playing fairly well lately.

    Good job, Mr. Dozier!

I'm glad I missed that. Gubicza and company will be a nice change sort of. Mark, however, does tend to wear on one.

Hit batter, walk, double play and ground out: As expected.

What's really funny, though, is that Hrbek, I think it was Hrbek, came out a couple of years ago and said that Niekro wasn't using the emery board to scuff the baseballs. Niekro actually had a very small piece of sandpaper glued to the palm of his hand. Anyway, I think that's what I read. Could be wrong.

    That makes two of us.

I can just see the Reds manager, as soon as he saw Cabrera at the plate, salivating at the idea of a free out. I can also see a manager telling the pitcher to groove a fastball in order to get the AB over quickly. Can you imagine the hilarity of a player putting one in the seats yet being declared out?

Yeah, there are some all stars that weren't much more than a participation trophy.

Another great job, sir! Just so you know, even though I live in CA, I like games that start at 5:30pm. But, that probably has to do with the fact I'm out of bed by 4:30 am..

Oh darn, I was wrong. Good job, Twins!

I am really looking forward to the return of Sano, Buxton and Polanco. Santana? Eh.

Of course, the problem of more errors than hits will probably be rectified by having Hughes pitch the ninth.

Wow, I just noticed the Cards have only managed 2 hits. In fact, so far, the Cards have more errors than hits.

    So, about that split.....

Needed somebody who could lay down a bunt.

    Good job, Mr. Morrison!

I agree about Grossman. Nice to see the Twins take advantage, for a change. They've really been short of breaks these last few weeks.
  21. Blake
Cool! Brought up mlb gameday just in time to catch Grossman's double! Nice assist by Cards fielders, by the way.

Same person who hired Rosanne Barr for the National Anthem a few years ago?
  23. Blake
OH, and good job, Mr. twinssporto!

I like Morrison, though, because the man hustles and seems to be pretty heads up on the bases. It's a wait and see. It will be entertaining, that much I know.

Finally, something different from Mr. Molitor. Good job, Mr. Molitor! Some different thinking is always welcome.
