  1. Anyone want to start a pool on when Buck is back?
  2. Who are the Twins young players (or players who grew up in our system) that are improving as batters as they get more Major League experience and attention from our Professional Hitting Coaches? Julien - worse Miranda - worse Lewis - worse, but jury still out Wallner - see Lewis Lee - hard to get worse, but not improving Larnach - not getting worse, but not improving Jeffers - See Larnach Discuss amongst yourselves.
  3. We got 3 innings left against the worst team in baseball, all is not lost just yet.
  4. Ah, just following on MLB Gameday. Hope he's not hurt too, unless a break is what he needs.
  5. That feeling when you're pinch hit for by a guy with an OPS of .288. 😬
  6. Today in made up stats $$$ in millions per bWAR Vasquez, Keirsey - Infinity Correa - 186.5 Lewis - 16.3 Lee - 7.6 Castro - 7.1 Jeffers - 6.6 Larnach - 5.3 France - 5.0 Buxton - 4.4 Bader - 3.1 Wallner - 2.6 Clemens - 1.0
  7. We have a decent number of slightly above average hitters but aside from Buck no great hitters. And more than a few terrible hitters.
  8. This is only the second game I've watched this year, so I don't know if this amateur drone operator camera angle thing has been going on all year or not.
  9. Credit to Festa for holding it together after a rough start. 4 runs through 6 innings shouldn't mean your team has zero chance to win.
  10. What exactly does one have to do in modern baseball to commit an error?
  11. Oh look at C4 giving professional hitting advice in the dugout...
  12. Once again, how are we favored at all, and especially on the road, and especially with SWR pitching? I understand being favored with Ryan pitching but SWR is no Joe Ryan.
  13. We might lose by two TDs today. On national TV. Or maybe we jump on Skubal.
  14. We don't just suck, we're also no fun to watch. No running game, no small ball, no personality.
  15. It's Joe Ryan, THEN pray for rain... Dammit
  16. To be honest, I'd take an entertaining 100 loss team over this frustrating boring team every day.
  17. You and Hambino are right. This was the right situation for a closer. I stand by my comment that Rocco's seeming aversion to doing anything regular, especially with his lineups, is turrible.
  18. Anyone adept at Baseball Reference that can tell me Duran's splits in save vs non save situation. Dude is a closer. Rocco's insistence on treating the players like stat producing androids drives me crazy. Psychology, flow and momentum are real.
  19. Guy who is happy the world has ended so he can be alone to read and he breaks his glasses. The actor was the guy who played Rocky's corner guy.
  20. People of TD, I have been reading people complain about Provus and I was surprised, because I enjoyed him on the radio, and hadn't watched a game yet. Just got Twins TV for Father's Day, and got to watch some of the game tonight. Oy, I have not enjoyed him. Even more of a homer. So annoying.
  21. The corporatization (prolly not a word) of sports sucks. Let's have fun and not be beholden to spreadsheets while trying to avoid saying anything that actually means anything. Oh yeah, and get off my lawn.
  22. It is refreshing to see Rocco give up and let his pitchers throw 100 or more pitches as some kind of weird punishment for not performing well.
