I completely agree with your take on how velocity has changed the game. I remember when hitting 95 mph was considered blazing fast, and now it seems like if you’re not hitting 100, you’re falling behind. It’s definitely putting more strain on arms, which explains why injuries are more common. I read an article recently that explained how teams are willing to pay more for pitching because of its scarcity. Makes sense when you think about it—good pitchers are harder to find, and the demand is huge.
