  1. Think we ran out of breaks for the series .. Or the lack of Keaschall Martin and Jeffers is more than we are able to overcome.
  2. Three noisy shutout innings is an improvement for Mick
  3. Thought they might challenge but already down one.
  4. We aren't the only ones who know how to leave guys on base.
  5. Do they still have the cardboard COVID fans behind the bullpen?
  6. I'm so pleased with the timely hits, there are still plenty of misfires but things are coming around. So... I was watching a video montage of the RBI singles last night, a nice Instagram feature Twins social media puts together. If you watch, after smacking a hit, Royce spends a good fifty percent of the time looking into the home dugout on this way to first. Celebrate, sure! But missing a possible opening for extra bases because you aren't paying attention .. cmon. Josh Bell on the other hand keeps his eye on the field as he runs to first. I'm sure he was celebrating too.. but also aware of the surroundings. Veteran presence.
  7. Royce's befuddlement when he was told about playing 2nd makes me wonder if some players feel they're immune from such moves or perhaps graduated before they were instituted. Starters become relievers. Austin Martin and Willi Castro played both dirt and grass and Keaschall may also. Rocco tinkered perhaps too much.. so far Shelton seems more content to leave things the way they are if they work (moving Buck to leadoff needed to happen). Positional flexibility depends a lot on who's writing the lineup cards.
  8. Really this hasn't happened much. Better D and we aren't sweating.

  10. Ish we are missing plenty of chances since the start of the game
