    Correa and Ty France have virtually identical averages and OPS. One is the unquestioned clean up hitter, the other is routinely pinch hit for. Not good.

    I don’t fully embrace it, but admit I haven’t completely thought it through given the current roster. As a fan, I prefer roster construction with players in clear roles, positions, etc. Old school I guess and I know most teams aren’t managed that way these days.

    Full disclosure - I loved him as a player. Got everything out of his skill set, smart, instinctive player. I think he got under some people’s (mostly opponents) skin. I miss guys like that.

    I’m trying to stay in a positive place, but truth is there’s been at least 3 stretches of Twins baseball this season that, on their own, would have seriously put the Manager on the hot seat if not cost him his job in more competitive/demanding markets. I’m not moving to one of those, so I am riding this out like I always have. Just hope the change comes soon.

    This has become the standard for futility of this current roster construction and offensive philosophy. Like I said, I’m ready for something fresh.

    No one is asking me but I say “sell”. Reload, hope for new ownership. I mean I’m a rabid fan regardless, but I’d like to see something fresh.

    Pretty important given the fact that Correa will need to move off SS sooner rather than later. What that does to Lewis I don’t know. 1B?
