  1. C4 looked like a minor leaguer on the curve ball. I had hoped that contract wouldn’t be abysmal at this point.
  2. Is it ok for me to say that I enjoyed D. Span much more as a player than announcer?
  3. With regular playing time Kiersey might catch Wallner in RBIs.
  4. Good luck to the Twins staff as far as marketing this team. The term “listless “ keeps popping up in the forums; it’s for a reason. There’s so little energy on the field and so few players adequately developed in our system that there’s almost nothing to cheer for aside from the occasional Buxton highlight.
  5. Gore was an AS but he’s been up and down the past month. He wasn’t anything close to dominating yesterday and somehow got away with 6 walks. But mostly I was thinking about their bullpen which I do believe is the worst in the league.
  6. You’re making a pretty good argument here that the Twins ARE the worst team. Good thing we locked up our Manager for another year.
  7. Speaks volumes that what is largely regarded as one of worst pitching staffs comes into our house and effectively owns our hitters for two games. Rocco shrugs.
  8. I was imagining selling high on Larnach this year but this doesn’t help.
  9. And of course the Funderburk/Gasper battery is completely functional. Baseball is funny sometimes.
  10. I really miss the Nelson Cruz days. When you put a guy in the DH position in the batting order because, you know, he was a decent hitter.
  11. Wallner’s at bats just aren’t even “competitive “ most of time. Tonight: strikes out 3 pitches, 2 pop outs in the infield. Sure, occasionally connects but is apparently only looking for one thing. If that one pitch in that one location isn’t there, he’s completely neutralized. Why does this kind of stuff continue to happen with this team?
  12. But as has been noted on this board before, Gallo had a run as a decent all around player before the version we got on the Twins. But agreed, got to be able to drive guys in.
  13. For all the consternation about France, his OBP is beating the $35M Man.
  14. It’s astonishing that we haven’t scored yet. 6 walks, 2 WP’s. C’mon Buck!
  15. Great start Zebby. If only our bats could get going.
