Rumor: Carlos Rodon Signs with the New York Yankees

As I said the other day. It doesn't matter what the Twins may have offered. The Yankees just up it. Rodon wanted to be with Yankees. Same with Dansby Swanson. If the Cubs want him, they just up whatever Mn may have offered. That's just the way it is. Twins FO need to stop saying every winter we are all In on big name free agents. They are better off saying we are going to do the best we can. Saying your all in and then getting nothing makes you look bad. Please don't trade Arraez + whoever for Lopez. -

Here's the way we get Rodon/Dansby. ONLY if none of the high spending teams dont want them. They wait for the Twins to make offer, then blow it out of the water. That's just the way it is. Rodon says he wants to play in NY. Dansbys buddy wants him in California. See ya. Make trades? For who, with what. After these deals the Marlins will expect a lot more then Keppler/Arraez. This team needs to focus on one thing each year. Pitching one year, positional players one year. Every year it's all over the map. Focus. Let's just wait another year for Royce Lewis. He's not young folks. It's to bad on him but how long do you wait. Right now this team has to many holes to be thinking playoffs.
