Rumor: Twins have talked to Marlins about Pablo Lopez
Peter replied to CoasterProductions's topic in Minnesota Twins Talk
Not if but when twins get pitcher whether it’s Lopez or not. I’m not sure they should get rid of our batting champion but rather Kepler as he’s expandable with gallo on team. With cc resigned and when twins get whatever starter from Miami. Can see division championship this year!!! I’m pumped up for season to start let’s go twins!!! -
Our team looks pretty good especially after getting cc back. Same with our pitching-as always health is always a concern as well pitching. The more I see our team the more I like it. Screw the prognosticators we have team that will be better then last year and hopefully win our division/break 18 game playoff losing streak!!! I’m pumped up for season to start!!’nlets gooo twins!!!

The Latest on the Minnesota Twins Free Agency Rumors
Peter replied to Cody Pirkl's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Why not sign evoldi? That would be good move by twins as they need pitching now. Don’t trade our batting champion? Twins have bright future-it’s 2 years away. As I said just want competitive team this season. Expectations are low as 75-78 wins is what I think but if they win 82 I’ll be happy-excited for baseball to start!!!- 39 replies

This twins team may surprise-look at Seattle and Baltimore last year. Signing cc would set this team back for years just like mauer did. We got good catcher/hopefully gallo will be surprise this year. 199 ba is ???need to get another starter which I think they will as well reliever. I’m tired on seeing all this negativity on these posts!! Come on!!! Support our twins!!

I think the twins are 1-3 years away. We have great lineup. Once Lewis gets back and lee is on team infield looks great. As well outfield. Definitely need to get another starter this year. Despite last season being most frustrating ever twins played over their heads. Losing all those games to Cleveland made difference not winning division. I don’t think the twins can afford to go into rebuild. There’s to much at stake. Unlike others on here I’ll support the twins no matter what win or lose. Let’s just hope they have competitive team! Realistic I expect 70-78 wins but hopefully 82 wins as that’s winning record and season

Hoping for the best but expecting the worse. At best twins may win 81-83 games but expecting 70-75 wins. It looks like rebuilding for the next 2-3 years. Let’s hope we can get rodan/Swanson. I’ll still watch/supports the twins but be realistic about this upcoming. Just be competitive.

The Minnesota Twins' Front Office Played Themselves
Peter replied to Matthew Taylor's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Just dumb! Will they get roldan or Swanson ? I hope so!!! Otherwise it’s looking like a long season with 2-3 year rebuild. Royce won’t be ready until mid season/lee is 2-3 years away. Not to be negative but it’s looking like a 4th place finish 70 win season. Unless pitching steps up. I hope I’m wrong but….- 76 replies

How Can the Twins Front Office Regain Twins Fans Favor?
Peter replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Gotta keep Correa! If he leaves twins are d screwed. All In all it was entertaining season. Losing to Cleveland in close 1 run games is what cost them division title. Need to add another starting pitcher. Beef up bullpen. That was major problem this year. Love the twins and will follow then through better or worse.- 66 replies

Ugly game!!!! Safe to say season is done. Credit for twins staying in division race this late but off season they need to reevaluate who’s stays goes. It’s difficult to win with most outfits starting lineup/pitching injured. Hopefully 2023 we can make the improvements needed this off season and win division/end playoffs losing streak

If only we could’ve won Friday/last game of twin bill Saturday. Ugh!!!! Still a big win-if we win today/sox sweep Cleveland/us KC sox series at end of season could decide division-it’s a long shot highly unlikely but you never know. I’ll always watch the twins no matter what as this season has been roller coaster as this will only be learning experience as I think future is bright and 2023 will be big year for us

Just finish strong!!! Hoping for a winning record-Chicago sweeping Cleveland making last 3 with white sox for division title it’s a long shot but it could happen. Think 2023 with healthy team will be the year. Twins were competitive through mid September playing meaningful games with depleted roster as they did much better then I thought. I’ll still watch the twins this season and beyond.

Tough crushing loss. Just can’t beat Cleveland-all credit from being down 5-0 to take 6-5 lead but fell short. This should do it for the season but still love the twins!!! With full healthy team next year should/will be better.

The Moments that Sank the 2022 Minnesota Twins
Peter replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
Earlier in season with stretch of games against KC/Detroit 8-7-needed to go 11-4 as well losing 8th/9th innings big leads to Cleveland earlier in season. Most frustrating season ever!!!!! Had sooo many chances to blow away division but didn’t ?????- 34 replies

What Happens to the Twins Front Office for 2023?
Peter replied to Ted Schwerzler 's topic in Twins Daily Front Page News
From what I’ve seen on here looks like 2023 could be disaster. The trades with San Diego were bad as we got fleeced big time-mahle was a bust and we are stuck with him another year. Injuries did twins in but no excuses as other teams deal with this. FO isn’t going anywhere nor in Rocco. If Correa opts out we have Royce which I think will be face of Team. Buxton needs to be healthy as does our starting pitching. This week is huge as it’s do or die. Need to sweep both series or season is over- 56 replies

I hope your right on saying twins/sox tied with 75-71. It can happen but don’t think it will. We just don’t have the horses to compete anymore-injuries did us in. Let’s see what happens this week before we write off twins. Need to sweep KC/take 4 of 5 from Cleveland with help from other teams. If not time to look in mirror and be ready for 2023

Unacceptable losses at home!!! Especially with season on the line-need to win tomorrow as well sweep next week!

Bad first inning cost twins the win. Still only 2.5 games back but need to win these next 2!!! As much as I love the twins it’s most frustrating/hated team I’ve ever seen. Still think twins take division on last day of season
