  1. nahhh...the robots and the WAYMO driverless robotaxis are in SF
  2. Somebody may be popping out of the box to help the TWINS WIN.
  3. Since you mentioned western town and possibly going to SAC to see the TWINS next year, I have included a link to old SACRAMENTO. It is a pretty neat place to visit,,,gold rush days preserved. It's a few blocks from the stadium. https://www.poyst.com/business/old-sacramento-waterfront
  4. THURSDAY, August 27.....I believe we will see a surprise gift for the Twins fans
  5. I live in SD and am about 4 miles from TJ...long drive from SAC....TJ is not the nicest place....the crime is pretty rampant ...you can get good Tequila in SAC bars if that is your preference
  6. I think it is a cool place and I liked Coliseum,,,saw the last game at the Metrodome also. I did not mean to insult,,,I LOVED it. For a true fan who likes the game...WOW...I went to spring training in FT Myers...nice...but those games don't mean much and it is a tryout for cuts...
  7. I am 68. (Tuesday-Thursday games April 27-29)..probably need to wait until March or so to make the decision due to the potential lockout...I will be in touch and post something first game of the season in March...It would be fun to get a group together from Twins Daily especially in a tiny park....we argue at times, but we are all fans....there are hotels within walking distance to the park....somebody in this group was there two nights ago and confirmed he was present. ...thanks
  8. I live in San Diego and will be driving up for the games. I would enjoy seeing other TWINS DAILY Fans...also be happy to transport anyone from the airport, The dates are April 27-29...beautiful weather that time of year.in SAC,,,.low chance of rain..also flights are probably less expensive that time of year.
  9. NDSU GRAD HERE..prefer this one and the model wearing it
  10. I was at the Twins/As games last year. I will most certainly be there next year...the last in SAC TOWN for the As. If you want to get an up close and surreal experience for a Twins game, take a trip to it, First time that I had a chance to actually speak with the players before the game (during with the relievers...spoke with Lou). I congratulated Royce after the game, and he looked at me and said Thank you. The bullpen catcher was having conversations with the kids who were next to the bullpen. It is a shabby stadium, but an experience that a true fan cannot get anywhere else during the season.
  11. WALNUT CREEK, Larnach...that is a wealthy area of EAST BAY
  12. Wow! looks like Audra got plugged into a socket. Also, Buck, I am 68 and have a hard time bending down and picking things up also.
  13. Interesting note: they seem to be pushing the sale of the Twins Field of Dreams t-shirts. I think they must have a surplus due to the score.
  14. Thank you for your very good comments. I really appreciate it. I am not one to downgrade him being a face of the franchise, but it needs to focus on the future come 2027. He is not going to get traded and I honestly do not feel that they would get much in return. It is time to phase in the new talent and individuals such as Jenkins. He will not be with the Twins after 2028, and it may be sooner if the injuries continue. He is NOT a Correa and does not complain or speak harshly of others. Honestly, I just want the best team for next year and do not see how they can continue to count on him as a fulltime CF. Look at the Angels and Trout. They have adjusted and used him at DH a good bit from my understanding. It may not be Buxton's preference, but realization and the betterment of the team needs to be a priority.
  15. So, does it just mean that the team should plan on 85 games and have rotating Centerfielders through 2028? Is that a good answer for a baseball team that wants success? How about inputting a player to take on the role with an understanding that Buxton will be exiting? HHMMM...let;s see ...perhaps someone from the SAINTS!!! If he can go to Atlanta...okay with me.
  16. a Buxton fan has a right to give thumbs down (certainly one of them here does) to everything negative about him, some thoughts...He's signed through 2028 on a seven-year, $100 million contract, meaning Minnesota still has substantial control over him (WARNING possible lockout for 2027). I wouldn't build the roster assuming 150 games. I'd build it assuming something like 110 to 125 games, and consider anything beyond that a bonus. If he gives the Twins 125 games at his 2025 level. He’s an asset. If the hip becomes another recurring problem and he gives them 70–90 games, the contract becomes much more problematic. He will be 32 next year, I seriously doubt they will give him an extension. It is time to start planning for the future in 2027 and use him part time at CF. It may be wise to DH him, despite him not seeming to prefer it. okay,,, hit me with a 👎Harmon
  17. Before the 2026 All-Star break, Buxton was: .271 BA / .328 OBP / .575 SLG / .903 OPS After the break: .132 / .246 / .151 / .397
  18. "Healthy" ...you need to count on a player being present. I did research on this topic. - Hip/Knee/Hamstring/Groin/Back/Shoulder/Wrist/Hand/Toe - Concussions/concussion-like symptoms/Hit-by-pitches/Collisions/Migraines Through yesterday, he has appeared in approximately 54,5% of the games since arriving on the team. Granted, there may have been some rest days.....but let's plan for the future. My point is that they should start planning on placing a new person in CF. It simply makes sense. Your definition of reasonable differs from mine.
  19. I question if he is the best position player at this point. If he cannot be counted on to be present due to injury, how can he be defined as the best?
