Sabato really struggled. Feels like his ceiling at this point is "Rooker-esque". Enlow has been hampered by injuries. Hopefully a healthy year stops the freefall.- 9 replies

Twins are moving Jax and Thorpe to the pen

Thorpe should have been moved to the pen 3 years ago. May, Rogers, Duffey... I understand the value of controllable starting pitching, but wasting a guys team control while he loses games and gets hurt doesn't help either. Fine line for sure, but I am glad they are making this move. Hope it works for both of them! -
Gordon and Martin at short is very interesting. With all the starting SS and SP talk it has been kind of flying under the radar that they do not really have a backup SS either. Are they back tracking on Gordon not being good enough at SS? Between him and Urshella that could solve that problem easily. Martin maybe even more intriguing. You would think they would be more interested in seeing Beckham at short given he has played SS in the majors. On top of that there has been plenty of chatter surrounding where he can play defensively. I am definitely reading too far into a spring training lineup...but who cares baseball is back!

Tough poll. Get Story, Montas/Manea and a solid bullpen piece (Trivino to make it easy?) and they could go from 75 to 85 wins real quick. 2nd place in the ALC will be a .500 team. The Twins are not far off being the second best team in this division and with those 3 additions and some good luck from an injury standpoint why not us?!
