    Not challenging the play at the plate might have just been the thing that wins us this game. Umpires gotta get crap like that right without replay. Pathetic.

    Because it's not about if the call is right or wrong. The on field call is the only call they can guess on. Would have lost the challenge for the next 4 innings.

    I'm only 75% sure Doizer was safe so a challenge probably would have failed but thats a call I want to make sure is correct, the challenge system is idiotic, the umpires themselves should be the ones that want to make sure calls are correct. It wouldn't be hard if it was actually about getting calls right. Instead we lose the fun of a good argument and replace it with correcting the clear as day calls and calling guys out by looking way to close at sliding plays.

    I'd like to know the exit velocity on that solid but not that solid single by Doizer I bet it's closer to Judge and Sano's Homeruns then you would think.

    Hey did anyone else know hitting the ball hard is important. Imagine how good Ty Cobb and Babe Ruth could have been if only they knew. It's interesting to know exit velocity to a point but it's not as if baseball fans didn't already know who hit the ball the hardest. I don't need to hear about it every time Sano or Judge are mentioned.

    True and they lost the last 6 games after they clinched so the record in games that mattered was far better then the final record.
