  1. Twins are about to be 45 and 46. How did they ever win 45?
  2. Donnie Barrels swinging at a ball a foot outside and then a foot inside. No favoritism from him today. Buxton with the big hole in his swing on the low/inside pitch. Same old same old. I thought they were going to change after the 'infamous' player only meeting?
  3. I've been thinking.....if the Twins pitchers can keep throwing complete game shutouts I think they will do very well this year.
  4. Mr Ed was asking for a scotch on the rocks.
  5. You could probably find some help with that in therapy. Your dad couldn't help it that he was bad at fishing.
  6. Lynn did not want to be here so I don't count him as a former Twin.
  7. I live 70 miles west of Target Field and it is raining now, 9:00AM, so hopefully the game will be on time.
  8. Pagan once again proving he is one of the best relievers in the game. His words, not mine. Please for Gods sake quit giving them hope!!
  9. Comparison is the theif of joy. Teddy Roosevelt.
  10. Thoughts are only a penny. But thanks for your extra effort. See, Rocco's ass whopping major changes are working already, even in Daily land.
  11. I can't wait to see Pagan close out tomorrows victory!! Good for Rocco, about time he tries to light a fire under the rosters ass. As a team they look like they are grinding out the dog days of summer, not June and atop of the division.
  12. I attended the Kernels game tonight (June 23). They looked hungover. Made 3 errors(if there was an honest scorekeeper) many bad at bats and poor pitching. A couple of homers was the only highlight. Marco Raya gave up a ton of hard hit balls and the following pitchers did not impress. Miller had a couple of decent plays at shortstop and has really nice hair. They scored 5 runs after the game was out of hand to make the score much closer than the game felt. This review written by someone that has a hard time following the batted ball........
  13. Thi sounds like a Matthew Berry cherry picked stat to show that Kirt Cousins is better than Patrick Maholmes. I will say I think in this era of short start/long relief innings who starts is not as big a deal as it was a few years ago. Pinch hitting is very prevalent in todays game.
  14. WHAT?? Sara Palin is going to try singing now?
  15. Not striking out is almost a moral victory.
  16. Has anyone else noticed that Lewis like to double tap the ball in his glove before throwing the ball to first base? Jason Bartlett did the same thing when he was first called up to the big leagues.
  17. Wallner hits left handed pitching at a .249 clip. Garlick hits .250 so Garlick is clearly the best option.
  18. Exactly, that way everybody gets in a good nap before the game.
  19. That will feel good when it quits hurting.
  20. Gallo, Correa and Buxton all injured but trying to play through it certainly would explain their respective slumps. I sure hope the Twins get hitting on all cylinders and put this division in the rear view mirror. With their pitching they can walk away with the Central if they can just play to their potential. A.J. Perzinski is very good as an color guy, I found it embarassing that some Twins fans booed him when he wore a different uniform. It was not his idea to leave Minnesota.
  21. I do believe that the way Varland is pitching tonight is called "dealing".
  22. It's obvious that Buxton is still having knee problems. He will not be manning center field anytime soon. After last nights Angels game where he ran full speed twice he was lifted in the sixth inning with leg stiffness. I'd rather see him DH than not see him play at all. Taylor is fine in center, Celestino looks like a 'maybe' for next year or perhaps Buxton can be in center next year. I know I should be used to disappointment but damn, Buxton has the talent to be compared to Willie Mays, why can't us Minnesota Twins fans have our cake and eat it too?
  23. late night west coast games has everybody rather quiet. I'm liking Varland on the mound the more I watch him.
