    they play the best lineup against the teams in the playoff hunt in order to be fair to all teams in the hunt. It's a respect thing between managers.

    I can't help but wonder if Lewis and others' development would be different and better if they were'nt so focused on their arbitration numbers and focus on being more of a team player. Paying them upfront is a gamble but makes sense on multiple levels.

    I think they did an about face. They started to rebuild but could not pull off trading the Ryans of Pablo last off season.

    I'm happy for Sabato. I was at a Saints game this past summer when he hit a ball out of the stadium. I hope he gets a chance to play and hits 6 homers in the next 6 games.
