    I think if Parmelee hits they should trade Morneau. I just hope they don't give him another big contract if he does have a big year this year seeing it's a contract year.

    Even if these guys don't produce a lot better than the group they're replacing. At least they're trying a different group this time.

    How much offense is required when a player is providing great value with the glove? I've always wondered.....How much defense is required when a player is providing great value with the bat? I haven't seen Rosario play but how good will his defense have to be to get his bat to the majors?

    Sure would be nice to still have Hardy around, but that still doesn't solve the pitching problem.

    Twins starters may all be 4th or 5th on other teams but at least their different 4-5 starters than years past. At least their giving some one else a shot instead of running the same guys out there year after year.

    Even with zero chance of making the Twins I'm surprised they reassigned Meyer so early. He pitched pretty well so Im surprised they didnt keep him around a little longer.

    As good as Hicks is playing i think it works for and against him. Twins need a good lead off hitter and center fielder, but the way he's playing could also show them he could be on his way to living up to his potential and want that extra year of control.

    I think if Parmelee and Plouffe are playing well that the twins will most likely trade Morneau and Willingham for pitching and middle infield help.....that is if they are playing well.

    Bullpen. Save his shoulder and he has been a good strike out pitcher his career. Seems like a good spot for him.

    I think he'll be about the same. Maybe it's just a coincidence, but it seemed to me Every time i was watching that he left a lot of people on base. Although I didn't watch near as many games as I usually do and the ones I did I didn't watch the whole game often.

    As fun as it was to watch Big Jim smack homers with ease i just dont see a spot on the 25 man for him. Splitting DH duty between Doumit, Mauer, Willingham, and Morneau doesn't leave many ABs. Only way I'd like to see him is if it means there's no room for Butera.

    Maybe the twins could trade Blackburn to the Red sox to keep Pressly around??? Seems like a win even if Pressly doesnt pan out.

    I am definitely a lot more excited to see what Arcia can do in the bigs than i am Hicks. Probably won't be a flashy defender, but his minor league stats would indicate a well rounded hitter. Sure he'll get the call after an injury or Morneau trade moving Parmelee to 1st.

    I must say after seeing the picture of the Twins celebrating a big walk off win it had me excited for twins baseball until I read the article. I to believe the twins will be better this year and most of your predictions will come true. Should still be a fun summer to see how the youngsters do in the bigs and throughout the system.

    I think Morneau's homers will be a little lower, Doziers a little higher, and all Parmelee's numbers will be higher.

    That's what I figure as well. If Benson has a good spring he'll get the spot over Hicks to start the year because of his september call up in 2011. But will he start in center or as a 4th outfielder?

    Seth, It seems the E-Twins have a lot of success every year. What is the biggest reason behind this? Good players, coaching, lesser opponents, or what? Heres to hoping "Buck" can Buck the trend and move through the system fast and be a young MLB stud like the Upton's.

    Unless there's a injury, I would say he'll get the call in July if Morneau gets traded, and Parmelee moves to first.

    I personally don't see Gibson making the opening day roster. Partly to limit his innings and partly to save on major league service time.

    I wouldn't take that to seriously considering Scott diamond and glen Perkins aren't even on that roster. Never mind.....I saw them out on the field.

    Another arm a year or two away from the majors would be better than keeping him and still losing 90+ games three years in a row.

    After signing Correia I can't help but think TR is trying time get Gardy to quit knowing it's only a matter of time before he's out with this roster.
