    I think that Worley might have a longer leash than you think... he was the Twins big offseason acquisition. I think the FO will give him every Chance possible to be successful. The only two I really see on the ol' chopping block in Pedro and Pelf'

    yeah, definitely agree that trading span/revere and hicks struggles put them behind the curve hell who knows maybe Buxton is the answer there longterm and Hicks is just stop gap unitl he is ready. I could handle a blazing fast bomb launching leadoff hitter

    Hey Mauer, swing the goddamn bat and you wouldn't have to argue if that was a strike or not. I know he is an On base machine, but holy Christ will be ever clutch up and swing the frigging bat in these close situations? i thought outside pitches were his bread and butter?

    Riverbrian, how do you like the dart? my wife and I may be in the market for something here soon, she is in sales and puts on a lot of miles, and may be changing employers. New gig would give her a car allowance, not a company car like she has now.....I really like the way the darts look.

    Could be happier with how aggressive the Vikes were yesterday. Yes the Vikes are thin at LB, but Urlacher is still out there :-)

    dude had 21 in 163 plate appearances last season.... I'd say 50 is plausible if he gets 400 PAs.... doubt it will happen though

    I honestly don't remember and of the "bad stuff" that came out in '02..... What I do remember is his enthusiasm, passion and love for the game....along with his heroics of '87 & '91. If I ever bought a Twins jersey, it would have 34 on the back....

    Ponder's 2 biggest issues: 1) lack of confidence 2) he's gun shy as hell. He won't stand in there, take some heat and try and make a throw. If he feels like there is a guy with 5 feet of him he is cowering and breaking out of the pocket.

    Oh please no..... Nyjer Morgan is a friggin' D-bag.....there is a reason he has been on like 19 different squad's in the past few years Million dollar talent with a ten cent head. Don't waste money on a guy like that, just let the young bucks come up and play.
