    Ill put in my 2 cents without reading the responses thus far.. best running back of all time, not yet, time will tell. If he stays healthy i think yes but hes had too short of a career thus far to say. if the question was is he potentially the best.. I think everyone would agree yes. now if you asked me if hes having the best running back season of all time? I would say absolutely (even if he doesnt break the record). I would even go as far to say hes having the best season of any nfl player of all time

    I was just thinking that once his career is over what a great story nishiokas journey to and from the mlb would be (and its kind of sad to say). A celebrity sports superstar in japan gets a big contract with an american baseball team with all the glamour and then his life and career spirals out of control (broken leg, wife leaves, all the public mocking). I just get images in my head of after his last game full of blunders before getting sent down to AAA, of him getting hammered in his hotel and upturning all the furniture in his room. I think im on to something here!

    After watching some replay of last nights game against detroit i noticed that whenever casilla got the ball and gave one of his lazy side-arm, submarine flips to 1st, mauer would give him a little extra evil-eye stare. Anyone else notice this? Maybe some annoyance at it. I know gardies blood pressure probably goes up every time.

    You can also think of this stat... How many timed have players with a "great arm" airmailed a throw to third or home into the duggout causing even more extra bases?

    Whats better is that Our starters are more frequently getting through 6 innings. But i guess that goes hand in hand if.

    Am i off here or does plouffe remind anyone else of Bautista after he joined toronto? This Hot streak is going on a little longer than just a streak (even though i expect him to cool down just a bit eventually)

    He Gave up 3 HRs last outing to the rays... So hopefully thats not his 1 bad game

    Were gonna need some really good pitching from duensing tonight, DET is pretty well staggered lefty righty and hes been knocked around a little by right handers. On the plus he has been very good at keeping the ball in the park. I think if we can get verlander out of the game by the 7th that will be our best shot at getting to detroits battered bullpen and scoring a couple runs.

    I like masoriannidavanipastrami... Hes got loads of potential with Some more experience in the major level. Mark my words that hell be a big asset in the future (if we hold on to him)

    Well the twinks did a good job of keeping sale true to his ERA today (unless they can bust something in late innings)

    Maybe its just my way of thinking but being able to get "a groundball at will" is about as counterproductive as a sacrifice bunt (in most situations)
