    Games already over. Why are we even pitching this guy Matthew's. His pitches are not competitive. One out and 7 runs and he is still in the game. Thank you Pohlads, fitting Blewitt is up with our ownership.

    12 million is pocket change to the Pohlad ownership. These owners wouldn't make this move if his deal was only 5 million even.

    Rogers would make other guy's better, and lengthen the pen. The salary seems to be the going rate in MLB for top end middle to back end relievers, and may be a roadblock I agree. Not a fan of the level. The bullpen really needs a boost right now a stabilizing force, and Twins could use left handed option. Not doing something at the deadline is coming home to roost. Twins are clearly short a lefty and the season is on the verge of going completely South to circling the drain. I would call it a needed hail Mary pass, but your not losing a player, and some other guys like Descalfini come off books next year. Twins front office and ownership would be wise to roll the dice on Roger's, he has quality stuff and our team needs the help. 60 day IL Paddock is an option as he is about that far out. They had really good revenue on Green Day concert. Get this lefty, get some guys back and we can still make a run in October. Things seem bleak, but we are not out of it yet.

    Our manager is familiar with him. We need another left hander in the bullpen pretty bad. Thielbar is mop up guy now, not a hold or save reliever. Rogers, has closing experience. I would trust our managers evaluation over the Giants manager. I mean if Twins can pay Manny Margot 12 million, why not Taylor Roger's. Maybe Maki can get him back on track. Need a roll of the dice as bullpen has really high ERA right now. This team needs another bullpen piece badly. If ownership steps up, team and fans will. I really do think old friend Roger's would give Twins a boost. The talent is still there and the dude can pitch, has quality. Tonkin will help us. If they need to dump salary next year, next year is next year. This bullpen needs shot in the arm.

    You can see the lack of execution before it happens. Twins have 4th highest ERA in bullpen right now. Nothing is going right. I hate this negative situation.

    Thielbar is cooked. I know he didn't walk the first gut but guys are not biting on his breaking pitches.

    Watkins strikes again. He needs to be relieved of his duties. Nobody out and now forces the issue. 3rd base coach is bad at his job. This crap has been happening all year.

    Festa is pitching his butt off, and Twins hitters batting like a collective butt pucker. 2nd and 3rd with no outs and no scoring. How much frustration keeps setting in. Self defeating, Sale is good but not even a sacrifice fly.

    Dead on about the media rights deals being poor and lack of TV causing attendance problems at the gate Nick. Sometimes devil you know is better than don't but not on media rights deal. Why Dave St Peter is still president of the Twins should be examined by ownership. I waffle between not disliking Pohlad group to getting annoyed by them. They are part owners of the Loons too who have bad TV deal. Great stadium poor utilization for events outside of soccer. Twins really need to invest in player development and scouting not cut.

    Wish we could swap owners with another team. Just getting rid of the penny pinching Pohlads would be a relief to Twins fans. This Twins team needed help at the trade deadline and Joe Pohlad said no to adding additional payroll, limiting potential trades by demanding bad salary's be swapped. Too much sunk cost on this team and we have stick in the mud owners.

    Yep, you can count on predictable Rocco to start Farmer and Margot tomorrow and sit Wallner and Larnach. Lewis does need a sit day, that i agree with.

    Lost 7 of 9 this Twins team has. Julienes's bad defense and bullpen making mistakes a common. Denominator on all of it.
