Saw this tweet today from @MyLittleBloggie (Former MPR News blogger Bob Collins) and thought it was pretty accurate: MyLittleBloggie‏ @MyLittleBloggie The Greatest Generation took enormous pride in seeing the next generation have a better life than they did. Baby Boomers resent the possibility and fear that the next generations will have something they didn't. So they make sure it won't happen. 7:39 AM - 15 Dec 2017

It's a crapshoot, I'd say Vikings, Wild, Twins, Wolves. Based on talent alone, Wolves might have the best chance of all of them, but based on the path to get there, one of the other MN teams might luck their way into one first. - I've been burned too many times by the Vikings, but as of now, they have as good of a chance as anyone in the NFC of going to the Super Bowl this year. - I'm not a hockey fan, but I thought the Wild were pretty good? Seems that if you make the playoffs in the NHL and have a hot goalie, you can make a championship run. - Good step forward this year, but the Twins are not quite there I don't think. - Wolves are probably going to make the playoffs this year (finally!), but are still a couple years away from actually contending. Not many upsets in the NBA playoffs.

    JFK

Musk21 replied to Badsmerf's topic in The Sports Bar

This was kind of an interesting interview between Jake Tapper and JFK assassination expert Gerald Posner, who details why they may not want some documents released: http://www.cnn.com/videos/tv/2017/10/26/tl-foreman-jfk-assassination-jake-tapper.cnn As a side note to the assassination, Jackie's iconic, blood-splattered pink suit was donated in 2003 by Caroline Kennedy to the National Archives with a prevision that it not be publicly displayed until 2103 so as not to "in any way to dishonor the memory of the late President or cause unnecessary grief or suffering to members of his family." Too bad, it would be fascinating to see it.
