    I wouldn't say that especially if it rises to the level of a crime (and that handwritten note from his son was chilling) but I don't think Hunter was supporting Domestic Violence. I'm opposed to boxing in general because for the most part, I think you have to have a vicious mentality to succeed. And Mayweather got paid very, very well for that.

    My father's philosophy of life .... if you aren't 15 minutes early, you're late. It was a philosophy he inherited from his father but not all of his brothers subscribed. Grandpa to Uncle Charlie: "We eat at noon. If you and your family aren't here, we eat without you."

    I have long been rooting for Aaron Hicks. This move makes sense to me if the Twins committed to a plan for Hicks before the season started and are sticking to it. Hicks has done well at AAA but perhaps they wanted him to get "X" number of AB's and he isn't near "X" yet. Even before this, people on these forums were not in agreement about the appropriate time to call him up. After the way he has been handled the last couple of years, maybe management is just being conservative and giving him the greatest opportunity to succeed in AAA and then later in the majors. We'll see how he responds.

    Latest on Twitter is that GM Bob Melvin says a multi-year deal is in place. No interim. Sounds like Counsell to me.

    For now, I'm taking Bobby McFerrin's advice. I'd rather be happy than worry because I have zero control over the five items you're worried about.
