    Read yesterday that Trout and Hunter still talk every other week. People discount the mentoring relationship but Torii and Mike apparently have a genuine friendship.

    Good old California dip ..... lipton onion soup and sour cream. Ranch dressing goes best with vegetables but it would do in a pinch with chips (a little soggy, though).

    Wow, a game thread first thing in the morning. All day to anticipate. I hope Pelfrey has a good game. I hope somebody out there wants him (or at least, could use him). I've kind of worn myself out on the voting but I'm sure I'll put in a few hundred more today.

Robinson Cano (33) is third. Brian Dozier leads all MLB 2Bs w/slugging percentage of .453 since 5/28/13. Robinson Cano (.447) is 2nd. Neil Walker (.446) is 3rd. So, this isn't a "since the start of 2014" thing with Brian Dozier. The switch flipped on more than 25 months ago in Milwaukee. Brian Dozier entered tonight with 163 walks since 5/28/13. That's 15th in #MLB and tops among 2Bs. Kipnis (148) is 2nd. Cano (126) is 3rd Brian Dozier is 3rd in #MLB with 230 runs since 5/28/13. Only Mike Trout (243) and Matt Carpenter (231) have scored more. Brian Dozier leads all 2Bs with those 230 runs since 5/28/13. Ian Kinsler (208) is 2nd. Jason Kipnis (177) is 3rd.
