    Had a guy that ran our church league team when we would come in to bat and needed runs, he would always holler “in the big inning.”. He would also say we’ve got the meat of the order up this inning, and I’m not talking about the fatty portion. 🤣

    Yeah, I’m just going by my memory and maybe rules have changed. I don’t think they play suspended games like they used to unless it’s a tie game.

    Agreed, what happened to his vaunted out pitch sweeper. He didn’t throw it once in that at bat. Maybe he was afraid of throwing it away with a runner on third. I don’t know, but he should’ve went with his strength in that situation I believe.

    I remember back in the day where the evidence for a check swing strike was whether or not the batter “broke his wrists”.

    Anybody notice that the pitch Jak threw to Freeman was pretty much middle middle. Very hittable. I know he had a 2-2 count, but I think he served one up.

    Home plate ump is just an idiot. It’s almost like he’s guessing. He’s probably missed 20 pitches today.. That probably includes the margin they give them on their grading system too.
