    And I hope we don’t start hearing that the Twins poor defense is because they are getting moved around so much. It was a freaking ground ball. He’s an infielder, catch it and throw it.

    You can’t really go up there looking for a walk. But at the same time you can’t swing at a pitch up in your eyes. Maybe I’m greedy, but I was wanting him to hit away there. They needed more than just a walk-in run. They need a hit with runners in scoring position.

    I’ve got a feeling that It’s gonna be moot before then.

    Remember how the Twins responded last year after the big trade event. They came out more aggressive, running the bases, hitting, and pitching. They took what the front office did as an insult to them, and they were very competitive for several weeks there. Would be nice to see a repeat of that starting tomorrow.

    Yes, in one of the game threads this weekend I mentioned that before the All-Star break the Twins were scoring early, and putting up crooked numbers in most of their wins for a couple weeks there.

    Horrible pitch by Rojas two strikes and he throws one right in Raleigh’s zone.

    Back before the break when the Twins were winning, they were hitting early in the game. Big first innings, getting out to leads over the first three or four innings, and added on as the game progressed. Haven’t done that for a while. Since the break that has been missing, would like to see it return.
