  1. Wow. Adam Dunn pitching on the South Side? I might have to tune into Sportscenter later...
  2. I'm just glad I could open my fridge and have some of my homebrew
  3. I watched it on TV. I should have tuned it in on the radio for a bit just to listen to him.
  4. You know what makes trips into Sconni worth it though? Spotted Cow
  5. How would you even pronounce that?
  6. No doubt! Waukesha, Pauwekee or whatev. WTF?!? I do have to admit, they played the cards over the weekend. What I caught of it was fun to watch. Saw Neshek pitch. But man, their announcers aren't that good.
  7. I live in NE. I was in Milwaukee suburbs for work
  8. Ugh. It is nice to be home and be able to watch the Twins again. I was getting sick of watching the brewers.
  9. I don't mind Santana playing CF until someone better comes along. He seems to be getting better defensively there. I would like to see Hicks go to AAA now and see if he can get a call up sometime next month. If he can get some confidence back, he still is a very talented player. Maybe when that happens you can put him in CF and get Danny some SS time. Anyway around it, I would like more playing time for guys who might be around next year.
  10. I guess a one month flyer on a former prospect isn't terrible. Rather see Parm, Arcia and Santana get most the playing time though
  11. He was the manager in 2012, but also a coach for the Marlins 2002-2003. Got his White Sox gig coming off the '03 Marlins WS victory.
  12. I wouldn't mind Ozzie Guillen as a bench guy or a third base coach. Didn't he do that for the 2003 Marlins team? Infielder coach I believe. Another guy who I would be intrigued with is a Roberto Alamor. I thought I saw something about him wanting to get into coaching. Played with Molitor also I believe.
  13. He's been a pretty fun guy to watch this year. He seems to be doing better and better in center.
  14. I suppose it is better than watching a bunch of SS play the outfield.
  15. I not sure this move makes complete sense to me either. Does he have any options left?
  16. That's the way to start a ball game!
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if they inquire about Torii or Cuddy. Decent corner guys with some veteran leadership. Rather have Cuddy I think. If Hicks keeps doing decent they might try him in center again next year. He is only 24.
  18. I wouldn't be surprised if Correia or Willingham are moved mid-August. They seem like perfect waiver deal guys. But then again, I'm not sure anyone is even going to want them.
  19. Who do you think they were going to be able to trade Correia and Willingham to?
  20. Option worth $6 mil also for Suzuki
  21. Just read $6 mil per year the next two year
  22. I'm not convinced Pinto is going to be our catcher of the future. I like this extension. Just curious on the $$$.
  23. Usually they seem to have the extension wrapped up around mid-July. It sounds like these negotiations just drug on longer.
  24. Two years with a vesting option according to Tim Brown of Yahoo Sports
  25. Wow. Can't wait to see the bottom fall out in Detroit in a couple years.
