  1. http://www.azquotes.com/picture-quotes/quote-i-m-not-the-manager-because-i-m-always-right-but-i-m-always-right-because-i-m-the-manager-gene-mauch-61-47-25.jpg There's nothing wrong with your statement, but it's no improvement over the original. When in doubt, keep the public message simple and direct. There are a lot of youngsters on the team, and clarity might make a small difference here and there, to help Molitor keep the clubhouse. For as long as he's the manager, he deserves this courtesy.
  2. Well, the Antony Era starts 0-1. I was expecting at least 1-0.
  3. Santana needs to do better on the bases.
  4. The man battles his tail off. I like him.

  6. You finally put that Barcalounger on craigslist?
  7. Wasn't able to check on the game progress until now. Saw this, figured I'd be tuning in to an 8-0 deficit.

  9. Hey guys. Just got back from my afternoon trek in the Himalayas, so I've been out of Internet reach for a while. What's new?
  10. In response to the several posts that followed this, can I please point out that the notion of the front office worrying excessively about the players' feelings was started as a hypothetical, with satire at its heart, and does not need to be debated on its own merits?
  11. Sano can drop a popup at first just as well as at third. The guy has shown good tools to play his current position but is woefully inconsistent. I was afraid that fans would show little patience with him, despite all the brave words about bringing the kids up and letting them take their lumps. I'm not 100% confident he will ever attain the consistency needed, but we need to let him play and find out.
  12. Bartender, can you please cut this man off, and maybe confiscate his car keys and call him a cab?
  13. Was hoping for better. Oh well, wait until tomorrow, when we have our ACE going for us. (Who was it they said that's starting?)
  14. The more you drink, the less you brain.
  15. You miss a little, you miss a lot. Good plays and bad plays. It's been an interesting first few innings.
  16. That's the play I always give Sano credit for being able to make, so I guess I'll shut up about it now.
  17. DickBert claim Buxton was out on a bang-bang play. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d6f9j7gAdY
  18. Kepler plays that RF wall well. This is nice. The pitchers must appreciate having a margin of error.
  19. Those are the most gnarly things That I see in the veggie tray Really, eat your peaches Or I will throw them away Take out the garbage, take out the garbage, take out the garbage all the time Ooo-eee baby, I'll sure think of one last rhyme There. Got it out of my system. You're welcome.
  20. Ramirez at third could give some lessons on handling popups to Sano. Nice job there.
