  1. Catchers do not play long consecutive sequences of games regardless. Pinto will play. And if he makes use of the opportunities he gets, he will play more, and probably soon.
  2. There's probably some followup line to be made about in vitro fertilization resulting in Twins, but at the moment I'm shooting blanks.
  3. On alternating sides of the diamond. Going uphill. Both ways.
  4. We play the White Sox, what, 67 more times this season? I'm not sure I can take 67 more of this.
  5. Apparently their Advance Scouts are better than their Latin America Scouts.
  6. (Checking the post number...) Oh, only about 259 times so far. / edit - oops, two more posts snuck in ahead of me
  7. Looking forward to Brian's "Things To Think About" next time. Plouffe, Deduno, ....
  8. Yes, I've checked the ESPN boxscore and a few times was able to predict the future.
  9. One more infraction like this one, and it's a bannin'.
  10. "Sox fans are so passionate. And they know things about your family." -- R. Clyde Gardenhire
  11. Of this year? Of all time, don't you mean?
  12. The announcers made a reference to Duensing being not on the roster, hence Tonkin's availability at all. I do not remember seeing anything about Duensing - anyone know?
  13. Nice movement on Tonkin's fastball for strike three.
  14. Colabello standing on first base would be an unusual batting stance.
  15. Two strikeouts by Perk. Practically a perfect ninth.
  16. I wonder if Riverbrian will have any post-game thoughts to offer about Plouffe's defensive prowess?
  17. Half of Matt Capps. / would prefer to see his better half instead
  18. See the previous discussion on Eaton Semien.
  19. How slow of a runner must Konerko be, to be pinch-run for by a catcher?
  20. There's just something about working behind the plate that sharpens your perception on the offensive side too. It's too much of a pattern to ignore. SABR should look into this.
  21. 4 RBI for Suzuki in the first two games? If present trends continue, I expect more of the same.
  22. These guys have a lot of professional pride. And the coaching staff can tell when effort is only 98% instead of 100. A humorous comment at the right moment from a teammate or a coach would be all that was necessary to get a good guy like Glen's attention.
  23. Not difficult to acquire a ticket. But try to hold onto it in the cold and it will fly out of your numb fingers.
  24. Assures the QS for Correia. (And for Joe A Preusser. ) / edit - beaten to the punch, but I'll still leave in the shoutout to Joe
  25. I was just kidding. Going by the book "explains" every mistake in judgement.
