  1. Next time I will... Or else I'm getting my Bacon at JB's or your house.
  2. That was perhaps the worst Curve Ball I've seen in quite some time. If Sano would have used his legs on that Swing.. It would have landed 15 Rows back in the upper deck. That swing was just upper body. Sano is plenty Strong!!!
  3. How Long of a Drive was it? Why Ravenna? I'd go just for the Gelato
  4. I just wanted them to be competitive. I just wanted them to look like a team that was turning the corner. I didn't care what the record was... I just didn't want them to beat themselves. Funny how things change... Now I care what the record is.
  5. I did my Buttered Eggs and they were perfect once again. Melt a bunch of butter real low heat... Drop the Eggs in... Pick out the shells... Throw in Cheese... Mix it all up and they are the best scrambled eggs ever. I also tried Bacon... But I'm not doing that again. It's too hard to turn those suckers over... The grease splattering set my chest hair on fire... and they curled up into this ball. Once the smoke alarm went off... They were just plain over crispy.
  6. So did the Stones with Brown Sugar
  7. Eggs Ackley Loudon Wainwright III proved it
  8. As long as it has a good beat and a catchy melody. The lyrics never matter. Blues Traveler in the song Hook said... "It doesn't matter what I Sing as long as I sing with inflection. If it's got a catchy beat... You could sing "My Grandmother killed my Grandmother... One to prison and to the ground with the other" BTW... I just wrote that... No Copyright on it yet... So any of you musicians can steal it.
  9. That's why i'm waiting til the end.
  10. I've never worked 9 to 5 or 8 to 5. My work schedule has always been more than 40 hours. Whenever needed... I'm there... When Not... I can be gone.
  11. BTW... Bark has made a Conga Line Rally inspired by Sample Size Photo that I will post at the end of the Game... He couldn't game thread today so he emailed it to me. It's absolutely Awesome. I can't post it now since I don't know what kind of power it has and the Twins are ahead. I'd hate to deploy it at the wrong time and get the opposite effect... It is a rally photo after all
  12. Typically... No But I do know the words to Saturday night
  13. It used to be Boxing was the Sport to be followed. That has progressed to Ultimate Fighting probably being bigger than Boxing. It's obvious that Hunger Games type stuff is next.
  14. The J. Geils Band usually fires me up. Prefer the 70's J. Geils to the 80's but yeah... they fire me up.
  15. Hicks is also having some decent bats in this go round. When Buxton comes off the DL. I have a feeling Hicks will stick. That means Buxton goes down to the minors or Sugar Shane is cut loose. Unless injury occurs.
  16. Very true... Arcia was a guy who had a pretty extended run in the bigs. There was a time when he didn't have AAA waiting for him like the grim reaper. Arcia is a guy who would just rather hit the ball 500 miles and now AAA is where he is.
  17. Baseball is a funny game... Ain't it?
  18. Let me amend that... Most rookies feel the immediate need to prove themselves and therefore try to do stuff with every thing thrown in their direction. The light switch is found... when they realize that they are hurting themselves trying to do that. Managers don't help the situation... The need to win doesn't lend itself to patience... Therefore... the rookies need to prove themselves immediately is warranted.
  19. That applies to most rookies... All the talent in the world... Just don't know how to use that talent yet.
  20. I may change my mind later... Who knows how much later... But I'm going to say this: As of this moment... Sano looks MLB ready at the plate. Showing some discipline up there.
  21. Still looks safe to me... Not sure how that was conclusive to overturn
  22. LOL... What are the odds that I picked up Olive Oil today? Popeye on the other hand and Brutus... They'd pick her up all the time.
