    This will be good for me... Didn't want to move my youngest son for his senior year in high school so I'm in Michigan by myself for a bit... Living as Men do. I'm cooking and doing laundry now... So when my wife moves to Michigan later... I can finally impress her. As long as I don't give her any of the bacon that I prepare.

    (As Terry Ryan) #5 -- I was talking with Tom Kelly last night and he told a funny joke. He said that he thinks Joe Mauer makes too much money... We laughed and laughed for at least 20 seconds.

    If I'm Terry Ryan I think I'm looking at bullpen real hard at the deadline and that may be it. Unless there is any doubt about Sano for the stretch run. Then I'm looking for one big time power bat. Jay Bruce would be the one I'd target.

    Maybe not tonight... Those guys are probably on the way to somewhere to hang with family for the break. Any other night... especially on road trips... When they got time to kill in a hotel room... They probably bounce around TD and may even read the game threads. Unless they figured out that we rarely talk baseball on the game thread.

    In all seriousness... That's why I'm a believer in respect for the players(and us normal folk) when we discuss on TD. Those guys are connected socially just like the rest of us. They are human's just like the rest of us. Saying a player sucks can go right to the guy who is fighting for a career. It's more important to them then it is to us and when we attack in a vicious manner... It's just piling on unnecessarily. I'm pretty sure the players know how to Find TD and I think they find it often.
