Not sure if referring to mild knee sprain tonight, or... http://suptg.thisisnotatrueending.com/archive/12089630/images/1284526412078.jpg ... .658 OPS this season.
Felix Hernandez's pitching ability was siphoned away by a small, mangy alien parasite dangling from his chin. Pat Dean channeled Dean Chance. Mauer went deep. Danny Santana briefly exceeded the speed of light while chasing a ball in the gap and sling-shotting through Planet Sano's gravitational pull. You know. The usual.
I guess, but I thought of it more like... Dr. Rollins, the dormant phase before he morphed into Mr. Henry at the next gig. http://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/JekyllAndHydeLXE_2780.jpg
Just a regular 6-2 lead has a kind of surreal Twin Peaks quality to it. 6-2 Twins with Dean outdue... out-whatevering Felix Hernandez, well, that's some serious Spock on a Unicorn $#!t right there... http://img06.deviantart.net/fdea/i/2012/016/2/d/spock_on_a_unicorn_by_hobo_style-d4mjquq.jpg
Henry was on my flight from Madison to Minnie. He's much harder to recognize when his eyes are open, his mouth is closed, and that vein on the side of his neck isn't threatening to blow out. http://assets2.vice.com/images/content-images/2014/12/08/jim-saah-hardcore-photos-282-body-image-1418062973.jpg
Don't feel bad, Reuben; it's confusing. Trevor's ex is dating the owner of the casino where the team is pulling a job after the game is over tonight. Rusty (left) made the call to remove him. The New Guy, Robbie, will trigger the vault.
So you're saying that FSN knew there probably wasn't going to be much that Twins fans would want to relive from a series between a team on pace for 120 losses and the reigning world champs? http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-u6vrFuorB88/VVVExkIe4MI/AAAAAAAAEdE/SOcwrq2ZO4k/s1600/tommy.gif Come on, who's got that kind of crystal ball?
Rules aside, I'm about ready for the grumpy judge from The Untouchables to instruct the bailiff to switch the Twins and the Red Wings like he did with the juries in the movie. http://www.thelin.net/laurent/cinema/films/tt0094226/48500.jpg Or swap the Twins for the AA Lookouts, for that matter. It's not full of Twins who already bombed in the majors.
Heh. You'd think, but I got my slow learner's permit over 30 years ago. The 2011-2014 Twins were the beer-aided viewing Twins. The 2016 edition needs a bit stronger blend: http://2koolperformance.ca/forum/uploads/post-27-1140109733.jpg The only reason I remembered the play was that it seemed totally precious that the Royals thought the Twins might mount a more serious scoring challenge than two on, one out later in the game.
Twins are still going to lose tonight even though the Royals tried to give the Twins a run. With one out and a runner on second the throw to first appeared to get the runner on the replay but the Royals saved their appeal. Run expectancy shows 1.17 runs scoring with one out and runners on first and third, but only .38 with a runner on third and two outs. The Twins failed to plate a run anyway because Twins, but only after the Royals probably improved their run expectancy by 8/10's of a run with the non-challenge.
He's at least got a walk tonight, but is SuperRobbie Grossman already turning into Stan Grossman of 'Fargo' fame? http://www.wearysloth.com/Gallery/ActorsB/21214-21947-0.jpg "We're not a bank, Jerry. We're also not really much of a baseball team."
You mean, like a filling or something? http://cdn1.theweek.co.uk/sites/theweek/files/styles/16x8_544/public/7/26/140911-richard-kiel_0.jpg?itok=cBcrQEQb
