  2. Sure she would, but she saves her voice for concerts only, so she'd probably just have a sign with him.
  3. Rosario's BProp third most comparable offensive player just moved into second after four more less-than-Boggsian at bats by Eddie tonight... http://www.gunaxin.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/cart061.gif Congrats to Dozier, though. Crossing counting stat thresholds probably nets a little more attention than it should, but 30 homers by a second baseman is pretty cool even in a lost season for the team.
  4. Shaggy should be going for the IS (Imaginary Save) to build his pretend closer resume. Edit. Runner on third almost turned into a BIS.
  5. Yeah, when I travel I sometimes miss the comfort and safety of the midwest too. http://sullivanfiles.net/fargo/paul_bunyan.jpg
  6. VMart was practically left for dead in some parts with his fruitless age 37 season last year, and yet after tonight he's right back to just about.300/.350/.500. He's not a HOFer, but I suspect that if he'd spent his entire career with a single team in a 'baseball town' like NYC or STL he would get some mention when he retires.
  7. Resting pulse, or...http://img2.rnkr-static.com/list_img_v2/19540/339540/C520/the-very-best-of-the-futurama-fry-meme-u1.jpg diastolic BP?
  8. My great grandma can touch 100. Now, keeping a downward plane, though... that's a whole other thing.
  9. Light and heat... what could go wrong? http://motherboard-images.vice.com/content-images/contentimage/20828/1428923414248488.jpg
  10. Lots of baseball left, no way to know how this one turns out...
  11. Twins' second half mojo running out of gas before our eyes... http://i.makeagif.com/media/6-30-2015/pit3JZ.gif
  12. They're everywhere! Your firearms are useless against them!

  16. Watch the complaints or else he'll go in for Polanco at short and really give you something to cry about.
  17. Weather pug showing signs of anxiety out here in our fair, far western suburb. We know what that means. http://i.ebayimg.com/images/i/262232696124-0-1/s-l1000.jpg
  18. Erick Aybar showing he's read every bit of the Ben Revere scouting report except for the part where the Twins traded him.
  19. "That's the spirit!" http://thefilmexperience.net/storage/1980s/blade-runner-movie-screencaps.com-11783.jpg?__SQUARESPACE_CACHEVERSION=1452267710794
  20. Luckily for me, it ended at almost exactly the same time that I said it was over. Pug got up and strrrrrretched to cast vote that it was over too, and anyone not afraid to crap behind the sofa in order to voice displeasure has veto power at Casa de Bombo. Out we go. Bummer to see another fine Erv effort wasted, but he continues to reward the decision to hang on to him.
  21. Gordon and his gold-tinted glove seem to be going out of their way to make Grossman look more gross in left field by comparison.
  22. That's kind of what I expected, but thanks for posting it. I thought Dick's lefty mash comment was odder than usual for him, not only because Sano is already there by any reasonable definition, but because the Twins are hardly a collection of righty-crushing savants who lay down against lefties.
  23. For a certain subset of the population, it's a delightful cat photo being partially blocked by a stinky, snoring, miniature monstrosity.
  24. Yeah, I hear ya. I think Grossman suffers from a very specific kind of stereotype, which is that a switch-hitting, high on-base outfielder without much power should also play killer defense (but more likely in center than a corner) and steal bases. But for the price the Twins paid for Grossman, the getting on base thing alone is a nice payoff, and anything more would be a bonus. So far, no bonus. But with Buxton still germinating and Rosario still... Rosario, we take the bad with the good, I guess.
