  1. I agree with this point, but the Twins also did win both games in this series without Cruz. When everything is clicking, the Twins have great depth.
  2. I was not expecting the Cubs to look that lifeless this series
  3. Hopefully against the Yankees it's: Game 1 - Maeda Game 2 - Pineda Game 3 (if necessary) - Hill/Odorizzi I don't trust Berrios in a big game vs the yanks
  4. Nice of Josh to keep the plate clean
  5. Nelson Cruz putting on a glove. Man 2020 really has everything
  6. At least for me, Wisler has kind of flown under the radar this season, but he's been extremely good.
  7. I like the aggressiveness from Buxton
  8. Wtf Rocco. Let Jeffers hit for crying out loud.
  9. That home plate is looking a little too clean, Donaldson
  10. I'm getting ready to strap in for the Rogers Experience coming up in 2 innings.
  11. The only glimmer of hope I really see against the Yankees is the way Maeda and Pineda have pitched so far this year. If they can go 6 or 7 innings giving up <2 runs and May/Romo/Duffey closing the door then the Twins have a shot.
  12. Hopefully the whole last third of the Twins' lineup tonight is gone next year
  13. Didn't realize that the Tigers had both Gardenhire and McClendon. A lot of ejection memories there
  14. Rocco: "Middle of the lineup material!"
  15. Twins just look like they're going through the motions. Hopefully the playoffs will spark some life into the team.
  16. Maeda and Pineda have been pretty effective so far for the Twins. Maybe Berrios should change his last name to Berreda.
  17. I'd rather see Kirilloff come up and get some experience than watch Kepler put up 0 fight in his at-bats
  18. Yankees are going to pass the Twins in the standings. I can't think of a worse first round scenario for the Twins than to face the Yankees in their home stadium the way they're swinging the bats right now. Rocco, if you're listening, tank the rest of the way. Face the Sox, Rays or A's.
  19. I honestly think the Twins should just tank. Try to get the Sox or Rays first round
  20. I think right now Buxton should leadoff, but once Arraez comes back I think he should take over the duty. Buxton has been extremely impressive right now, but the only thing that concerns me for him being in the leadoff role is the inability to take a walk. Arraez does a good job taking pitches and working the count when he's going good. I think you swap Arraez for Buxton in the order. I also think having Buxton batting before Sano and Donaldson would be nice. I'd go with: 1. Arraez (2B) 2. Polanco (SS) 3. Cruz (DH) 4. Rosario (LF) 5. Buxton (CF) 6. Donaldson (3B) 7. Sano (1B) 8. Kepler (RF) 9. Jeffers © Arraez and Polanco are the table setters with Cruz and Rosario providing some right-handed and left-handed pop, respectively. Buxton can also provide pop and he can also be a guy to get on base before some big swingers. If he gets on base, he can distract the pitcher with his speed, and that could force the pitcher to throw less off-speed stuff to Donaldson and Sano.
  21. Need to get some longer starts. BP is getting worked hard
