I know Rocco probably doesn't want to hurt feelings, but I think some players need a wake up call. Call up some prospects and bench some of the regulars. Show them that their roster spot could be in jeopardy and that might light a fire under their ass.

Yeah the Twins should have been sellers. I don't think that's even an overreaction. The FO thinks that this team can repeat what they did last year and the fact is that last year was an extremely lucky year with a lot of players having career years at the same time. This roster just can't compete with the elite teams. Twins are missing some key pieces for the future and the FO failed to recognize that.

I'm starting to believe last year was just a major fluke

If the Twins continue this slide, Larnach and/or Kirilloff should have a shot playing outfield. Kepler has looked lost this season.
  5. MNT1996
Great win, Twins. Rogers still makes me nervous though
  6. MNT1996
Rogers warming and not Duffey? I don't know about that one, Rocco.
  7. MNT1996
I'm so used to Twins teams that don't want to start beef. It's fun to watch a guy like Romo for a change.
  8. MNT1996
Does Cleveland just have a never ending supply of great pitchers or something? I swear every year they have a couple that come up to the big leagues and just dominate
  9. MNT1996
    6 more outs
  10. MNT1996
I'm guessing May and Alcala each get an inning with Duffey closing?
  11. MNT1996
    Holy that was nasty
  12. MNT1996
Having Thielbar come in does make me a tad bit anxious
  13. MNT1996
Sano is learning from Cruz... and it's beautiful
  14. MNT1996
Rogers needs a break from the closer role. This is ridiculous
  15. MNT1996
If Sano keeps hitting like this and Donaldson comes back soon. That's gonna be a hell of a middle of the order.
  16. MNT1996
That montage of Sano running into fielders was both hilarious and terrifying
  17. MNT1996
Polanco with a very patient at bat
  18. MNT1996
Smeltzer shouldn't be on the big league roster
  19. MNT1996
Now that Sano is heating up I think some scrutiny should be put on Kepler. Guys at the top of the order should be hitting better than .223
  20. MNT1996
    Well placed pad
  21. MNT1996
Well one is better than none
  22. MNT1996
Will the Twins find a way to get another hit and not score this inning?
  23. MNT1996
I like the aggressive call to send him there. It took a perfect relay to get him.
  24. MNT1996
Hopefully Jeffers keeps hitting like that and motivates Garver to step it up at the plate. Competition is always good
  25. MNT1996
Buxton on the IL again. What a shocker
