  1. I was hoping not to have to do this today. But the boyz need some help or something. The Rally Roger has been raised.
  2. My money's on it that the kid in the photo is one of Colonel Sander's great great grandchildren.
  3. Naw, Chief was slow on the draw.
  4. Coochie coochie coo, yee haw!!!
  5. I think it might be time for Ricky to hit the showers.
  6. Censored. Went too far probably.
  7. Why me? Just kidding, it's all about the thrill of the hunt. You might have to explain what happened to me in today's game.
  8. Molitor's Marauders have their **** together today!
  9. Meet the new Nolasco, same as the old Nolasco! I have not watched the game till this point. My niece was over and had control over the TV. I'd rather Plouffe hit an HR and me not see it than Plouffe not hit a HR while I am watching the game. That's me Boy!!!
  10. You scribbled in that grass in the foreground. Impressive. It had my eyes tricked for a moment.
  11. You're not gettin' away that easy... Tag, Your It!!!
  12. If I got my hands on that money, I'd still use it. It would not gross me out.
  13. I officially resign my post as the unofficial picture poster (a title I just made up 2 seconds ago). River Brian is all yours! I can already feel my blood pressure lowering.
  14. Hey RB, when you are there can you mail me one. Those sandwiches look Dyn-O-Mite!!! No need to overnight it, I can wait the 4-5 days. I'm on a tight budget.
  15. Me too. I don't think anybody they have in the front office is suitable replacement for Ryan. If I had to choose it would be Goins - and that's my choice choosing from the best of the worst. Not that any cancer is something to blow off, but Ryan had a treatable cancer and I bet he is back to being close to 100%. Ryan is 61 or something close to that, not too far off of Molitor's age range, but if Ryan had to step down and the Twins named Molitor their GM, that would be interesting to say the least. Your posts have brought up a great topic... who is Terry Ryan's successor? There is not one person in their front office that I would feel very good about being the next general manager. I would choose Molitor.
  16. I'd certainly would want Red-Dog to be on the short list also, and honestly, I would want him to be the manager in that scenario, but Molitor is going nowhere, Paul may be 58 going on 59, but I think he has something to prove to himself as a manager. If what you proposed happens, my socks would be blown off. But as they say, anything is possible. My guess is that Molitor puts in at least 5 years.
  17. No you are absolutely correct. I was so caught up in the other material, that I totally forgot about Bernier. He does not belong on the big club, nor does he add anything of value. I'm sure he's a nice guy and all, but meh.
  18. It's quite apparent that this will be a short lived demotion. Vargas needs to play, he'll be back in 2-3 weeks. If he was not a DH/1B (emphasis on DH), this would not have happened. I will say, that I am not a huge fan of the move, but maybe the Twins want to get Arcia back in the fold as a DH and see what they have in Rosario for a few weeks more. The outfield D has looked a lot better with Rosie and Hicks.
  19. I believe Molitor to be entrenched in the managerial position. Things are going pretty well right now for the big league club, I can't see how you could disagree. If Redmond is to have a position in the Twins Org. it will have to be as Roving instructor or Assistant to the GM and I hope this happens. For this season at least, I do not see the Twins relieving Jeff Smith of his duties and I would doubt that Red-Dog would accept that position considering where he is coming from and the decent job he did with the Marlins. Who knows, maybe next year a MLB coaching position opens up for him, that is why I am not so sure the Twins are a good destination for Redmond. If I were Redmond I might attach myself to Mike's home state team the Mariners. Lloyd's team isn't running up to standards. You never know, things could open up there.
  20. In all reality. Redmond is lucky to get out of that **** hole. He'll be okay. From the outside looking in, he actually did a good job down there. Hell, Redmond's 43-44, his post baseball player career is just getting started.
  21. Like I said he is a d-bag. Obviously, he is also a liar and a cheat... and a bad person. I am sure most MLB team owners have done some shady things business wise, I can't envision a way of making a billion dollars without cutthroating a handsome amount of people and taking a deuce on the essence of their existence. Loria is bad for baseball. George Steinbrenner looks like Santa Claus compared to that clown. He needs to go, and I don't give a Rat's Ass about the Marlins, but their fans deserve better. Major League Baseball deserves better.
